Naomi Watts showcased her style prowess with four stunning outfit changes while promoting her new book, Dare I Say: Everything I Wish I Knew About Menopause, released on Tuesday, January 21, in New York City.

Guided by Jeanann Williams, the 56-year-old actress encapsulated powerful femininity in her wardrobe choices.

During her appearance on NBC’s Today, Watts donned a bouclé tweed dress with a collar from Emilia Wickstead’s Resort 2025 line, inspired by her designer’s memories of her mother’s style, yet with a modern twist, as detailed by Vogue Runway in November 2024.

She completed this look with Loewe slingback Mary Jane heels featuring a uniquely sculptural block heel, oversized Balenciaga sunglasses, an Oscar de la Renta handbag, and a simple gold ring by Bea Bongiasca.

While talking to host Savannah Guthrie, Watts addressed the sensitive subject of menopause. The actress recounted that she was just 36 and had finished filming King Kong while trying to start a family when she learned she was nearing menopause.

“That just flooded me with panic and left me feeling lost,” she reflected. “I was so lonely and ashamed, convinced that everything was over for me, which is why I felt compelled to write this book. I want others to realize it’s not the end—life is still full of opportunities ahead.”

Watts’ outfit changes were far from finished. She later appeared on Live With Kelly and Mark in another chic look, this time opting for an off-the-shoulder dress by Shushu/Tong. During their segment, cohost Kelly Ripa aptly termed Watts’ insightful yet light-hearted commentary on menopause as “mandatory reading” for women.

As she was seen in midtown Manhattan, Watts kept it stylishly warm in a navy wool overcoat from Prada adorned with gold buttons, complemented by a leather mini bag and matching pointed-toe pumps from the same brand. She accessorized with diamond hoop earrings from Dana Rebecca.

Upon reaching Union Square Barnes & Noble for a discussion with journalist Laura Brown, Watts transformed into a chic all-white look featuring silk wide-leg pants paired with a coordinating cardigan, finished with a long, relaxed camel overcoat from Celine that gracefully draped past her ankles.

Watts accessorized with another Oscar de la Renta bag—this time the Ivy style, known for its sophisticated yet practical design, adorned with gold “O” accents that reflect the brand’s iconic logo. This choice perfectly aligns with Watts’ role as a prominent advocate for menopause awareness, as her book presents a candid, informative, yet humorous take on the subject—an impressive achievement in its own right.
