Summer House and Southern Charm Cast Respond to Paige and Craig’s Breakup
Paige DeSorbo confirmed her breakup with Craig Conover in December 2024, after three years of dating, sparking reactions from their reality TV co-stars.
While The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Jayne admitted to Andy Cohen in January that she wasn’t familiar with Craig and Paige, the casts of Summer House and Southern Charm had plenty to say about the couple’s split.
After Paige, 32, disclosed on her “Giggly Squad” podcast that she and Craig, 35, ended their relationship over the holidays, her friends from Summer House are wholeheartedly supporting her new chapter as a single woman. (Paige later clarified that the breakup occurred during Thanksgiving weekend in November 2024.)
“I love all versions of Paige,” Amanda Batula told Us Weekly in January. “I love Paige in a relationship, and I love single Paige.”
Amanda added, “She’s our friend at the end of the day, so whatever makes her happy, we are here to support.”
On the other hand, Craig’s Southern Charm co-stars expressed that they weren’t “surprised” by the breakup. Austen Kroll even suggested that Paige might already be seeing someone new.

Ciara Miller
Ciara, 29, shared exclusively with Us in January during a joint interview with Amanda, 33, that both she and Amanda are “on [Paige’s] side no matter what” and support any “choices and decisions” she makes moving forward.
“Honestly, I’m excited for her to spread her wings outside of this relationship and hit the streets with me,” Ciara confessed, highlighting her own status as a single lady.
She also expressed a desire for Amanda, who is married to co-star Kyle Cooke, to be their “wingman” as she and Paige explore New York City nightlife.
Jesse Solomon
After a trip to Colombia with friends, Jesse, 31, shared a series of Instagram photos in January. In the comments, Paige playfully remarked, “Okay this dump is better.”
This comment led a fan to suggest, “@paige_desorbo @jessesols pls d8 <3,” to which Jesse replied with a hint of flirtation, “I know what Jesse Solomon would do,” referencing his past playful interactions with Paige during season 8 of Summer House.
Amanda Batula
“I’d say I was surprised, not shocked,” Amanda told Us in February while promoting season 9 of Summer House with her husband, Kyle, 42. “When I got the text from her, I was like, ‘What happened? Are you OK? Is everything alright?’”
Amanda, who included Paige as one of her bridesmaids, expressed dissatisfaction with how Craig has publicly handled the breakup, including his decision to unfollow Paige on social media.
“I think it’s a little ridiculous,” she stated. “I believe Craig enjoys the sympathy from everyone, and ultimately, I think he should clarify the cheating rumors because she’s receiving a lot of hate for that.”
Reflecting on the relationship, Amanda expressed that, given Craig and Paige’s longstanding history, she expected him to manage the breakup differently.
“You don’t want to upset someone on Instagram. We’ll see,” she noted, adding that Paige is “keeping busy. She has her tour. She’s always filming or doing photoshoots. She’s occupied and moving on.”
Kyle Cooke
“I was rooting for them,” Kyle admitted to Us in February. “But ultimately, I think they kept their relationship quite private.”
The DJ mentioned that for the first time in three years, Paige opened up to him about the challenges in their relationship, which surprised him. “I was like, ‘Oh, interesting.’ I always thought it was just rainbows and butterflies.”
Kyle complimented Paige on her thoughtful approach to announcing the breakup, saying, “I listened to her entire podcast and thought, ‘Wow. She handled this with compassion and grace.’” He felt that Craig’s remarks seemed aimed at arousing sympathy.

Madison LeCroy
“I don’t need to give him any advice,” Madison, 34, stated during a January Amazon Live broadcast. She told Craig after the split, “You’re going to be a fantastic husband and an amazing dad one day. You have so much to look forward to; just be grateful you didn’t already have those responsibilities before this breakup.”
She added, “I’m here to uplift him while he’s feeling down — and I’ll do that for anyone, really. But they’re fine, and it seems like everyone’s taking it much harder than they are.”
Molly O’Connell
The Southern Charm season 10 newcomer told Nick Viall on the January 16 episode of “The Viall Files” podcast that she hadn’t “checked in” on Craig following the breakup.
“I sent him a meme or something,” Molly, 37, recounted. “It wasn’t anything serious or flirty. Just a lighthearted message about a waterslide.” She added that she intended to “give him space” for the time being.
Molly remarked, “I saw his video addressing the situation. He was smiling, but it appeared to be a forced smile, which was pretty sad. I don’t want to intrude on someone who’s healing.”
Austen Kroll
“Was I surprised?” Austen, 37, mused during the January 30 episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen regarding the breakup. “I mean, I guess it’s a bit of a cliché, but the signs were there. I sensed something was off for about a month before the news broke.”
Austen, who has had his share of ups and downs in his friendship with Craig, hinted at Paige’s assertive role in their relationship. “She was definitely the dominant partner. That’s a diplomatic way to put it,” he joked.
When asked about rumors of Paige dating someone new, Austen confirmed it was “not a rumor,” suggesting that she was indeed involved with someone else. Paige responded to Austen’s comments on WWHL’s Instagram, stating, “Ahh, yes! A man I haven’t spoken to in six months knows exactly what I’m up to.”
Patricia Altschul
“I think Paige was unkind to Craig,” asserted Altschul, 83, during the same January episode of WWHL. “Remember, he expressed a desire for marriage and children, and she reacted with disdain.” (Craig dated Naomie, 32, from 2014 to 2017, and during that time, she publicly belittled his passion for sewing before he eventually established his successful company, Sewing Down South.)
Taylor Ann Green
“Craig and I live nearby. I often walk through his neighborhood and shot him a quick text when I passed by,” Taylor, 30, revealed in a January 31 interview with Decider. “It wasn’t immediately after the breakup; I know how overwhelming that can be with everyone reaching out.”
She recounted her supportive message to Craig: “Hey, bud, I’m thinking about you, hope you’re doing well and staying busy, which seems to be the case.” Taylor mentioned that Craig responded appreciatively, saying, “Thanks, Tay. Appreciate it.”
Reflecting on the relationship, Taylor noted she “wasn’t very surprised” by its conclusion, despite believing they were a “great match.”
She suggested that The Bachelor‘s Rachael Kirkconnell could be a good match for Craig now that Rachael has also ended her relationship with Matt James. Regardless of that, Taylor believes that Craig will do well in future relationships, hinting he may eventually marry “whoever he chooses to date next.”
Furthermore, Taylor indicated that Paige, being “such a strong woman,” might benefit from dating someone who will “occasionally challenge her,” contrasting her dynamic with Craig. “She needs a partner who can stand firm with her,” she expressed.
