Craig Conover Refutes Paige DeSorbo’s Allegations of Texting Other Women
Craig Conover has responded for the first time after his ex-girlfriend Paige DeSorbo alleged that he was messaging other women during their three-year romance.
“It was disappointing to witness the path that she and her show took,” Conover, 36, admitted in a snippet from his upcoming appearance on the Tamron Hall show, shared by Us Weekly on Friday, February 14, alluding to DeSorbo’s claims made during the season 9 premiere of Summer House. (Conover’s full interview is set to air on Monday, February 17.)
In the finale of the episode aired on Wednesday, February 12, DeSorbo opened up about her breakup with Conover and its impact on their public image.
“I’m like, ‘Craig, what do you mean?’ I feel like you’re really betraying me right now,” DeSorbo, 32, expressed to her friends in a scene that was recorded six months post the main filming, in the summer of 2024.
After publicly denying any infidelity during their relationship — which Conover stated he never claimed — she expressed her frustration.
“You’re allowing people to say that I’m a cheater,” DeSorbo added, referring specifically to the Southern Charm star, and then alleging, “I caught you texting two other girls while we were together.”
Conover, on his part, rebuffed any allegations of cheating during his appearance on the Tamron Hall show.
“Shep [Rose], my co-star on Southern Charm, mentioned, ‘That’s the most aggravating thing about you — your loyalty,’” Conover joked, before asserting, “I’ve never cheated.”

When Tamron Hall inquired as to why DeSorbo would have suspected he was “communicating with someone else,” he clarified that her statements were made a considerable time after their breakup in November 2024.
“That wasn’t a part of our separation. That was filmed later,” he explained, suggesting, “I believe it was a retaliatory moment.”
Conover expressed that DeSorbo faced “significant backlash” following the breakup, which he found disheartening, implying that her comments may have been a reaction to the critics.
“At the end of the day, she fell out of love, or perhaps I wasn’t the right fit for her, which is perfectly okay,” he reflected. “If someone isn’t suitable for you, you only live once. Go find your person.”
Throughout the interview, Conover stated that he is a “pretty positive person” and is focusing on the positive aspects that emerged from his relationship with DeSorbo.

“I’m just thankful for the three years we spent together. It was truly wonderful,” he reflected. “I’m a hundred times a better version of myself now than I was, and I believe she is too.”
DeSorbo announced the end of her relationship with Conover in December 2024, later clarifying that she made the decision to end things during the Thanksgiving weekend after fans began questioning if she had moved on too quickly.
Earlier this year, DeSorbo was rumored to be dating comedian Marcello Hernandez and was later spotted with an unnamed man at a Philadelphia Eagles game.
She addressed the rumors during an episode of her “Giggly Squad” podcast in February, firmly denying any betrayal toward Conover.
“Let me clarify this: I did not move on with someone new,” she stated in the February 3 episode. “I’m single. I don’t have a new boyfriend. I did not cheat — not on my ex-boyfriend.”
Conover touched on the subject during the February 6 episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, emphasizing that he didn’t wish to be part of that narrative.
“I never claimed you cheated, so I’m not involved in this,” he commented, added that he didn’t appreciate how the Summer House cast suggested he wasn’t “defending her” against claims of her supposed infidelity on Reddit.
