Mario Lopez Connects with Mark-Paul Gosselaar at ’90s Con Reunion
Mario Lopez and Mark-Paul Gosselaar reunited at 90s Con over the weekend for a “Saved by the Bell” throwback, capturing the moment with a selfie.
“Caught up with the homie today…#OldSchool #Round2 #Rematch,” Lopez shared in an Instagram post.
Lopez is famously known for his role as A.C. Slater, while Gosselaar portrayed Zack Morris in the cherished ’90s series. Their characters had a brief rivalry over the affections of Kelly Kapowski (Tiffani Thiessen) but eventually became the best of friends.
Both Lopez and Gosselaar were present at 90s Con 2025 held in Hartford, Connecticut, where they participated in a panel discussion alongside fellow former cast member Elizabeth Berkley, who played Jessie Spano, on Sunday, March 30. The event also featured panels for other shows like “Beverly Hills, 90210” and iconic film franchises such as “Scream.”
Over the years, Lopez and Gosselaar have remained in contact and notably reunited on TODAY in November 2023. Although they were promoting different projects, they collaborated to film a teaser during their appearance on the show’s 3rd hour.
Currently, Lopez hosts “Access Hollywood” and has his own radio show, “On with Mario Lopez.” Gosselaar, on the other hand, stars in NBC’s “Found,” a drama focused on a team dedicated to locating missing persons nationwide, alongside Shanola Hampton.
