1,000-Lb. Sisters’ Amy Slaton Reveals Boyfriend’s Desire for Another Baby

Amy Slaton and her new love, boyfriend Brian Scott Lovvorn, are so devoted to each other that they have already entertained the idea of starting a family.

In the Tuesday, April 15 episode of 1,000-Lb. Sisters, Amy, 37, surprised her sister Amanda Halterman by mentioning a recent discussion she had with Brian.

“He was suggesting I get my tubes untied,” she stated. “To have another baby.”

Clearly taken aback by this news, Amanda, 44, attempted to stay composed and instead offered some valuable relationship advice to her sister.

“Take your time. Stay cautious because sometimes it can become a snowball effect where they treat you one way for a while, but after two or three months together, their true colors come out,” she advised. “That’s when you really see who they are.”

However, in a confessional interview, Amanda couldn’t hold back her true feelings about the possibility of her sister getting pregnant with Brian’s child.

“Absolutely not. The f***?” she exclaimed. “I don’t know if she’s using her brain right now, but she should take a cold f***ing shower, and so should he.”

Later in the episode, Amanda expressed her concerns regarding Amy’s dating life, particularly as she moves on from her marriage to ex-husband Michael Halterman.

“I worry about Amy,” Amanda described. “When she starts dating someone new, she gets all these warm, fuzzy feelings and butterflies, to the point where she’s already discussing marriage.”

In another segment of the season premiere, Tammy Slaton shared an update about her romantic life following the passing of her husband Caleb Willingham in July 2023 at the age of 40.

In a confessional, the TLC star, 38, revealed that she is currently seeing someone new but hasn’t yet shared that news with her family.

“The person I’m dating is a woman,” Tammy disclosed. “A few years back, I came out as pansexual, but since Caleb’s death, I’m not interested in men anymore.”

When asked about keeping the new relationship under wraps, Tammy explained her hesitation to disclose it, knowing her family’s likely reactions.

“I want to go about this relationship differently than I have in the past, which is why I haven’t told my family—they will definitely have their opinions,” she noted. “Honestly, my family has more opinions than there are people in the world, and they are not shy about sharing them.”

1,000-Lb. Sisters airs on TLC every Tuesday at 9 p.m. ET. Previous episodes can be streamed on Discovery+.
