Kelsea Ballerini Shocks Fans with Stunning Wig Reveal
Kelsea Ballerini had all of Us deceived with her Live on Tour wig.
Ballerini, 31, took to TikTok on Thursday, April 17, to reveal that her flowing blonde locks, which she flaunts on stage, are actually a wig. In the video, her hairstylist, Brittany Leslie, used a Q-tip to loosen the glue along her hairline and gently tugged on the wig after her performance.
Once the wig was lifted from Ballerini’s head, fans were treated to a glimpse of her cap, which was secured over French braids. Leslie then unbraided Ballerini’s hair and removed the remaining glue from her face. The two shared a hug before the singer proceeded to use makeup remover wipes to take off her glam look, which featured blue eyeshadow, long lashes, foundation, rosy cheeks, and pink lips.
Ballerini ended the video by blowing a kiss to the camera.
“Protected my hair, felt like Hannah Montana, and earned the post-show nickname Rufus,” she captioned the post, referencing Miley Cyrus’ Disney character, who also donned a wig, as Hannah Montana’s “This Is The Life” played in the background. “Last night of tour shed 🫠.”

Fans expressed their astonishment at Ballerini’s stunning faux hair in the comments. “The hairstylist who did this absolutely nailed it. It was unclockable,” one fan remarked. Another added, “IT WAS A WIG??? GURRLLL IT LOOKED SO REAL.” A third praised Leslie’s skills, saying, “Your hairdresser deserves a raise; this is brilliant work.”
This isn’t the first time Ballerini has grabbed headlines on her tour. Earlier this month, she received a custom pair of bedazzled boots from a front-row fan and wore them while performing her hit “Penthouse.”
The boots featured Ballerini’s first and last name, her song titles, and colorful crystals, making the cowgirl boot details pop even more.
