Bachelor in Paradise Season 10 Heads to Costa Rica with Hannah Brown

Bachelor in Paradise is making exciting changes for its 10th season.

On Tuesday, April 22, ABC revealed that this season of the Bachelor spinoff will take place in Costa Rica instead of Mexico this summer.

Previously, the show was filmed at Playa Escondida Resort in Sayulita, Mexico, where the cast often voiced complaints about the lack of air conditioning and crabs.

Jesse Palmer will host the new season, which will also see season 15 Bachelorette Hannah Brown in a fresh role. According to the press release, “Unforgettable moments will come with a twist, with Wells Adams returning as the bartender, and Hannah Brown serving up bubbly during rose ceremonies in the all-new Champagne Lounge.”

After taking a break last summer, ABC confirmed in March that Paradise is back with cast members from the Bachelor, Bachelorette, and Golden franchises.

“For the first time ever, Golden men and women will be gracing the beaches of Paradise alongside your beloved Bachelor and Bachelorette favorites from previous seasons,” host Jesse announced during Grant EllisAfter the Final Rose last month. “Curious about how everything will unfold? You’ll have to tune in for the new season of Bachelor in Paradise this summer.”

So far, five participants have been confirmed for the new season: Golden Bachelor runner-up Leslie Fhima, Golden Bachelorette alum Gary Levingston, Bachelorette season 21 contestants Jonathan Johnson and Hakeem Moulton, and Bachelor season 29 second runner-up Zoe McGrady.

“I cannot wait,” Leslie expressed during the broadcast. “Beaches are my favorite. I’m thrilled to reunite with old friends, make new connections, and perhaps find love.”

While fans will need to watch to discover which romantic connections blossom, Bachelor season 29 alum Alexe Godin previously shared with Us that she is interested in joining BiP — and is aware that fans are shipping her with Jonathon.

“I keep hearing from people that Jonathon and I would make a cute couple,” she commented earlier this year. “When I went to hug him tonight, he joked, ‘Don’t hug too tight, people are going to scream.’ I’ve received great feedback about him being a genuinely good guy, so who knows? I keep saying he and Tanner [Courtad] are cute too, I think we can all agree.”

Bachelor in Paradise will premiere on ABC later this summer.
