Marciano Discusses Mormon Wives Drama at Vanderpump Villa Reunion
The Vanderpump Villa reunion has a fresh twist, featuring Stassi Schroeder tackling the tough questions—while Marciano navigates his drama with the cast of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.
On Thursday, May 1, Hulu unveiled the trailer for the special, where Stassi and Lisa Vanderpump questioned the Castello Rosato staff about the season 2 highs and lows. It quickly became clear that Marciano would face tough scrutiny following his unexpected remarks on Demi Engemann, one of the stars of Mormon Wives.
“I had a very strong attraction,” he confessed, as Stassi shifted the discussion towards his on-again, off-again girlfriend Hannah, asking, “Hannah, what’s the reason for your tears?”
In another part of the preview, Marciano suggested he had second thoughts about his actions. “I made a gigantic mistake that ultimately backfired on me,” he admitted.
Both Marciano and Hannah have made lasting impressions on Lisa Vanderpump‘s latest reality series. When season 2 premiered on April 24, viewers were treated to a captivating crossover with Demi and her fellow stars from Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, including Jen Affleck, Jessi Ngatikaura, Layla Taylor, and Mikayla Matthews.

During their visit, Marciano found himself immediately attracted to Demi, who married Bret Engemann in 2021. They wrapped up the season amicably, yet Demi later criticized Marciano for spreading rumors about her fidelity.
In anticipation of the show’s premiere, Marciano expressed his feelings on social media, stating, “Uninvited to the function because a 30-year-old Mormon wife is scared I will reveal the truth to her husband.”
Bret appeared to respond with a post on his Instagram Story, stating, “I’m so proud of this beautiful human. She’s the most incredible woman I will ever know. The amount of nonsense she’s endured is astounding. She carries herself like a graceful lioness among a pack of yipping hyenas.”
Later in the season, Marciano and Hannah faced severe repercussions after an altercation with costar Siadi. The next morning, Lisa fired the former couple, who ended up leaving the show after appearing in only half of the episodes.
“I spoke with Lisa, and my emotional handling that night was definitely intense,” Hannah told Us Weekly in April regarding the aftermath. “I need to apologize. She made the decision she had to, and I respect that.”
Lisa resonated with Hannah’s view, sharing with Us, “They handled things poorly, and I couldn’t just give them another chance. I saw the situation escalating, which was hard for me to manage. Did I dislike letting them go? Absolutely. But it became complicated.”
She continued, “Hannah brings a lot of positivity to the group. She was undoubtedly one of the most beloved cast members, making it genuinely challenging to see them go.”
Marciano expressed that the experience brought him and Hannah closer.
“When we were sent home, we felt genuinely bonded,” Marciano recounted to Us. “Because we left together, and it felt like a moment that no matter where we stood—together or apart—we both shared feelings for each other.”
Marciano added that he appreciated leaving alongside Hannah, saying, “We understand each other’s pain. We could see in each other’s faces how genuinely upset we were about being sent home. We leaned on each other to navigate through it, and whether we’re okay now remains to be seen.”
The Vanderpump Villa season 2 reunion is set to premiere on Hulu on Thursday, May 8.
