Jenna Ortega Dons Carrie Bradshaw’s Legendary Dior Newspaper Dress

Jenna Ortega draws her fashion inspiration from New York City’s timeless It Girl.

On Monday, May 13, Ortega, 22, showcased a newspaper-themed dress at the Hurry Up Tomorrow premiere in New York City. This reminded Us of Carrie Bradshaw donning a similar dress in season 3 of Sex and the City, which aired from 1998 to 2004.

The legendary dress, crafted by John Galliano for Dior in 2000, features a cowl neckline, a tailored bodice, gold chain straps, and a high-low skirt adorned with newspaper-inspired clippings, prominently displaying Christian Dior’s name.

Ortega styled the dress with gold Jimmy Choo sandals and a Dior coin necklace, finishing her look with nude nails and gold rings.

For her glamour, the actress sported a full makeup look, including shimmering eyeshadow on her eyelids and black eyeliner in her waterline. Ortega paired her alluring eye makeup with flushed and bronzed cheeks, pink lips, and well-groomed eyebrows.

Her brunette locks were parted in the middle and styled in a voluminous blowout.

When Carrie, portrayed by Sarah Jessica Parker, wore the dress again in 2009 during the filming of Sex and The City 2, she accessorized it with a sparkly silver glove necklace, a matching clutch with white fringe, and lace-accented peep-toe shoes.
