MGK Shares the First Song He Played for Megan Fox’s Baby Bump Before Their Child’s Arrival

Machine Gun Kelly is reflecting on a heartwarming moment just before the arrival of his and ex Megan Fox’s newborn daughter.

“My baby and my oldest daughter [Casie] are my top priority,” Kelly, 35, shared on the red carpet at the American Music Awards on Monday, May 26. “She’s feeling a bit under the weather today, so I’ll be walking the carpet and then heading back to shower my baby with love. I’m a dad, man. And with children come blessings; the more you invest in them, the more they enrich your soul, allowing me to contribute something meaningful to the world.”

Kelly (real name Colson Baker) humorously mentioned that his “biggest party night” happens at home, singing to his little one, whom he welcomed with Fox, 39, in March.

“I sing ‘Cliche’ over and over,” he revealed about his time at home with his youngest. He added, “That was the first song I played for Megan’s belly, and she started kicking.”

Kelly and Fox, who first crossed paths on the set of the 2020 film Midnight in the Switchgrass, announced their engagement in 2022. The couple separated shortly after Fox revealed her pregnancy in November 2024.

Months later, the former couple welcomed their daughter. (Kelly is also a father to Casie, 15, from a prior relationship with Emma Cannon, while Fox has three sons—Noah, 12, Bodhi, 11, and Journey, 8—with ex-husband Brian Austin Green.)

“She’s finally here!! our little celestial seed 🥹💓♈️♓️♊️ . 3/27/25,” Kelly announced on Instagram, along with a video of their newborn. (The baby’s name has not been disclosed yet.)

After their daughter was born, a source exclusively told Us Weekly that Kelly and Fox are “definitely not getting back together at this time.” However, the insider mentioned that Fox is “thankful” for Kelly’s support in co-parenting.

The source added that while their daughter lives primarily with Fox, Kelly has been “coming and going” and staying a few nights each week to assist. Fox, however, is the one who “sets the rules,” and Kelly is “fully aware of this,” the insider noted. Kelly has also stopped discussing their relationship status, focusing instead on their child.

“Megan believes MGK has risen to the occasion as a good dad but doesn’t see a romantic future for them,” the insider concluded. “Megan is overjoyed with her baby girl and is truly focused on her role as a mom right now.”
