Kobe Bryant’s Heartwarming Family Moments with Vanessa and Their Daughters
Beyond his status as a basketball icon, Kobe Bryant was a dedicated girl dad to his four daughters with wife Vanessa Bryant.
After their wedding in 2001, Kobe and Vanessa welcomed their first child, Natalia, in 2003. Three years later, they had Gianna, and they later celebrated the arrivals of Bianka and Capri in 2016 and 2019, respectively.
During a March 2019 interview with Extra, Kobe humorously remarked that his wife “wants a boy more than I do” while Vanessa was expecting their youngest. “I love having girls — I’m super, super excited about that. She is as well,” he stated. “She wanted a boy so he can be mama’s boy forever — that sort of thing. We’ll see if I can deliver, I don’t know.”
Kobe concluded his remarkable 20-season NBA career in 2016, winning five championships. Tragically, he and Gianna lost their lives at ages 41 and 13, respectively, in January 2020 when their private helicopter crashed into a hillside in Calabasas, California, claiming all lives on board.
