Dancing with the Stars Pro Witney Carson Pregnant with Her Third Child
Dancing With the Stars professional Witney Carson is set to grow her family alongside her husband Carson McAllister.
Carson, aged 32, revealed the exciting news during an appearance on Good Morning America on Monday, August 17, while also announcing her return for season 35 of DWTS with her partner Guillermo Rodriguez.
“I would be lying if I said it wasn’t very daunting. I’ve never been this far along in my pregnancy while competing on Dancing With the Stars, ever,” she admitted. “I’m not sure if it’s ever been done before.”
The talented dancer expressed her pride in not hiding her growing baby bump in the ballroom. “I’m so proud to be a woman, to be creating life and nurturing this human being, and to have the opportunity to compete on the show … is such a tremendous blessing,” she said with enthusiasm.
Carson also announced the big news in an Instagram post on Monday, stating, “We’ve been keeping a secret… a new addition to the McAllister gang coming soon! We are so grateful and overjoyed to be growing our family 👼.”
A heartwarming video captured the couple and their sons in a photo booth, showcasing the sonogram images.
Carson and her husband, who were high school sweethearts, got married on New Year’s Day in 2016. Four years later, they announced that they were expecting their first child, welcoming son Leo in 2021.
“Named after his Grandpa who sent him down to us,” she wrote in an Instagram post featuring a sleeping Leo. “My little Leo, I love you more than words can express. You are the most precious gift. My life will forever be changed by your sweet spirit. Welcome to the world, Leo.”
The couple welcomed their second son, Jet, two years later.
“Jet Carson McAllister 🤍 ,” she shared on Instagram in 2023. “He decided to join us two weeks early on May 13th at 9:21 pm, just in time for Mother’s Day 🤗🥹 Our hearts have doubled in size for our Jetty boy. He’s the most perfect addition to our family and has already brought us so much joy! We love you, baby boy.”
One year after expanding their family, Carson exclusively revealed to Us that she and her husband were making a move from Utah to Florida.
“I was initially really scared about this huge transition, especially since I didn’t have my family around; I was postpartum and just trying to adapt,” she told Us in 2024. “But I knew it was the right decision, so I pushed through and I’m incredibly thankful that my husband was there to help me through it all.”
While the couple originally sought a “vacation home” for their family, they instantly felt that this property was perfect for them once they saw it.
“My [father-in-law’s] name was Kevin Leo, and since his passing, every lion symbol we encountered reminded us of him,” she shared. “Upon entering the house, the first thing we noticed were two lion heads on the doors. The realtor mentioned, ‘Yeah, the owners love lions, so you’ll see plenty of them here.’ We decided to purchase the house that very week.”
