Kylie Jenner’s Hair Tutorial: Mastering Her Iconic Waves
Kylie Jenner disclosed her technique for achieving the stunning wavy hair she’s been flaunting recently, including at a New York Knicks game alongside Timothée Chalamet.
On Wednesday, June 4, Jenner, 27, shared her renowned blowout routine with the assistance of her hairstylist, Cherilyn Farris, via TikTok. “Right now, we’re just blowing out my hair, and we’ll be adding some clip-in [extensions],” Jenner said as Farris utilized a round brush on her locks.
The stylist explained she was using a one-and-a-half-inch curling iron, curling Jenner’s hair toward her face. “I’m creating a classic curl that’s all curled under,” she described.
Switching to a larger barrel, Farris tackled the back section of Jenner’s hair, noting it was one and a quarter inches. “I’m changing the type of curl and its direction,” she instructed.
Instead of a classic curl, Farris began to curl from the roots to the ends, employing the iron’s clamp. “The key to this is creating various types of curls so they don’t all fall in the same pattern,” she pointed out.

Next, Farris took another section of hair and wrapped it around the wand to the tips, aiming for that flippy, classic blowout appearance.
When she reached Jenner’s roots, she twisted the curler away from her face for added movement and dimension.
“I’m using a flat iron on the front,” Farris showcased, holding it up for the camera. “I prefer the control it offers.” She twirled Jenner’s strands around the iron to achieve a voluminous, soft wave.
“Essentially, it’s the most complicated tutorial ever,” Jenner joked as she began to comb through the curls with her fingers.
“That’s the hair!” Jenner exclaimed, beaming before concluding the video.
Fans applauded Jenner for revealing her go-to style in the comments, saying things like, “Sis is sharing all her secrets this week.” Another follower commented, “I’m loving transparent Kylie; it’s giving bestie vibes,” while a third called her “a girl’s girl.”
This hair tutorial came shortly after Jenner openly discussed what she requested during her breast augmentation at age 19.
When a fan asked her on TikTok to share the details of her “perfect” chest, Jenner replied in the comments, “445 cc, moderate profile, half under the muscle!!!!! silicone!!!” She even identified the doctor who performed the procedure, Garth Fisher.
Jenner first revealed she had a breast augmentation during a 2023 episode of The Kardashians, admitting she had “beautiful breasts” that were of the “perfect size” before surgery. She expressed regret, stating she wished she had “never gotten them done in the first place.”
