Love Island Season 7 Recap: Week 3 Highlights and Casa Amor Surprises (Daily Updates)
As Casa Amor came to a conclusion in season 7 of Love Island USA, the recoupling brought unexpected twists.
In the episode aired on Sunday, June 22, which is part of the daily show (except Wednesdays), a surprise awaited Ace Greene, Amaya Espinal, Austin Shepard, Chelley Bissainthe, Cierra Ortega, Hannah Fields, Huda Mustafa, Iris Kendall, Jeremiah Brown, Pepe Garcia, Nic Vansteenberghe, Olandria Carthen, Taylor Williams along with new bombshells TJ Palma and Andreina Santos as America voted two islanders off just before Casa Amor.
The second segment of the episode disclosed the most-voted girls and boys. The remaining islanders found themselves vulnerable, risking getting dumped by their peers. The girls receiving the highest votes were Chelley, Cierra, Olandria, and Huda. Among the boys, Taylor, Ace, and Nic garnered the most online support.
Since TJ and Andreina had just arrived at the villa, they were exempt from America’s vote and were not involved in deciding who would be sent home. The safe islanders made the choices, leading the girls to pick Hannah and the guys to choose Jeremiah.
The guys justified their vote for Jeremiah, citing potential disfavor from America regarding his behavior with Huda in the villa. The girls, however, expressed regret over choosing Hannah, suggesting she was sent home due to having already utilized her time on the show effectively, unlike Iris and Amaya.
Hannah and Jeremiah’s exits occurred just one day before Casa Amor.
“There will be more twists and turns in Casa [Amor] than ever before,” host Ariana Madix revealed during the Saturday, June 21, episode of Aftersun. “They’ll start things differently, getting [the islanders out in a way] they haven’t done before.”
Ariana hinted at the girls taking the initiative this time while the guys remained behind, adding, “I often say that ‘We’ve never done it before,’ but it’s always something unexpectedly crazy.”
Week 3 is already proving to be dramatic for viewers. (While the islanders are halfway through their third week in Fiji, Us will be tracking the events based on their air dates on Peacock.)

Before reuniting with their Casa Amor counterparts, the Islanders faced tough decisions. Nic and Olandria, rekindling after a passionate kiss, opted not to pursue their connection further. Meanwhile, Taylor found himself torn between following his head or his heart.
The recoupling brought everyone back together at the villa, where each Islander had to choose their partner. The twist? Their chosen partner had to reciprocate, leaving those not picked at risk of elimination.
The confirmed couples included: Austin and Jaden, Pepe and Gracyn, Andreina and Bryan, and Huda and Chris. Amaya attracted interest from both Zak and JD but ultimately chose Zac. TJ had the choice between Iris and Vanna, but thankfully for him, Iris picked him too, resulting in Vanna and Zac being left without matches.
Ace selected Chelly, leaving Coco single and at risk. Cierra opted for Nic over Elan, while Taylor shocked everyone by choosing Clarke instead of Olandria.
The Islands that remained in the villa decided to retain Olandria, though it’s worth noting that Taylor actively opposed this. Casa Amor chose to keep Elan.

Following the surprising eliminations, viewers discovered an exciting twist. To cater to Nic and Olandria fans, Love Island USA arranged a delightful date for the two, where they discussed their experiences in Casa Amor and the villa.
At the conclusion of their dinner, Nic and Olandria faced a decision: remain single or return to the villa as a couple. Nic took a chance, admitting his longstanding crush on Olandria and expressed a desire to explore those feelings. They snuck into the villa’s bed together later that night.
The following morning, Taylor had an awkward interaction with Nic and Olandria after discovering them in bed with Clarke. He discussed his interest in continuing his connection with Clarke, while Nic made efforts to persuade Olandria to explore their budding romance.
This episode featured a challenge between Casa and the villa to determine who had the best chemistry. Despite Ace’s attempts (especially after hearing about Chelley’s connection with a tall former basketball player), Casa Amor emerged victorious after several steamy makeout sessions among Islanders.
The climactic moment occurred when Nic made a move on Olandria, leading to a kiss that captivated both them and the viewers. A sneak peek hinted that Casa Amor and the villa would soon reunite.

Most of Tuesday’s episode unfolded as anticipated. Amaya and TJ, aware of their precarious situations, engaged with the new bombshells to secure their spots. Meanwhile, other couples assessed their bonds and realized they might not be as secure as they thought.
The recoupling took a dramatic turn when Zak selected Amaya over Olandria, leaving the girls in tears as they realized Olandria struggled to form any other connections. Their fears were validated when Olandria was eliminated 30 minutes later. Nonetheless, she remained determined to find love despite her departure and hinted at possibly reuniting with Taylor post-filming.
The guys faced a more intense deliberation. Vanna defended TJ, rendering Ace vulnerable. However, Coco expressed her desire to couple up with Ace, leaving Taylor open for selection. Despite the seemingly imminent reunion of Olandria and Taylor, Clarke chose him, leaving Nic single and vulnerable. He connected with Jaden, but it wasn’t strong enough, as she remained with Austin, resulting in Nic’s exit.
Love Island, having issued a statement against fan harassment earlier, managed to redeem itself with the episode’s conclusion: Nic leaving the villa only for a black car (emblazoned with a love-themed license plate) to arrive. Olandria emerged from the car, inviting Nic to hop in quickly. The two, who viewers had been shipping, drove off into the night together.

The islanders began the episode feeling upset over the exits of Jeremiah and Hannah. The guys questioned the girls about their choice of Hannah (with Ace clearly wishing Amaya was gone). The girls were equally curious about what led to Jeremiah’s vote off by his close friends.
Amidst the confusion, Nic and Cierra took time to affirm their commitment to each other. Meanwhile, Amaya struggled, feeling guilty about surviving over Hannah.
The following morning, islanders prepared for a kissing competition. It was at this point that the first twist emerged, with Ariana discreetly ushering the girls away to Casa Amor to meet six new guys: Elan, Bryan, Zach, Zak, JD, and Chris.
The guys remained at the villa, taking turns kissing the new girls—Graycen, Clarke, Vanna, Coco, and Jaden—without knowing their identities.
Ariana then announced more changes were on the horizon, beginning with everyone returning to a single status. The guys must now form new couples with the new bombshells, as must the girls in Casa Amor.
This reset would mean new pairings for every islander, who would return to the villa facing challenging decisions. The rules state that no one would be eliminated unless they didn’t return with a partner. Hence, every new bombshell would stay regardless of whether the original islanders coupled with them.
Notable new couples at the villa included: Vanna and Ace, Pepe and Graycen, Austin and Jaden, Taylor with Coco, Nic with Clarke, and TJ left alone after criticizing every kiss he received. The pairings at Casa Amor included: JD and Huda, Elan and Cierra, Chelley and Chris, Zach and Iris, Brian and Andreina, Olandria and Zak, while Amaya remained single for the moment.
TJ and Amaya have 24 hours to develop a connection, or they risk elimination from the villa.

Before the contentious fire pit vote, Jeremiah experienced a promising start to the day, maintaining a platonic relationship with Iris, which allowed him to pursue his feelings for Andreina, culminating in a kiss in front of the entire villa.
In contrast, some couples encountered struggles. Amaya sensed Austin retreating, leading her to question her significance in their burgeoning romance. Austin, sharing with the guys, expressed bewilderment over Amaya’s sudden interest in him after just two days. Despite feeling a disconnect, Amaya found herself attracted to Austin while he cleaned the pool, suggesting their relationship could flourish—if only Casa Amor weren’t just a day away.
Simultaneously, Nic and Cierra faced challenges. After apologizing for a brief sexual encounter (which Nic exaggerated to 30 seconds during Sunday’s episode), he confessed to Cierra that he wasn’t entirely closed off. This upset Cierra, as she was eager to commit to Nic.
Huda’s situation was different, as she sought clarity on her relationship with TJ, who ultimately disappointed her due to his strong bond with Iris.
Then came the crucial moment for the islanders to learn America’s opinions on them. Chelley, Cierra, Olandria, and Huda received the most votes, as did Taylor, Ace, and Nic.
This left Iris, Amaya, and Hannah vulnerable as the girls deliberated on who to send home. Ultimately, they chose Hannah, who broke down in tears, while citing her good use of the Love Island experience. Before leaving, Olandria revealed in a confessional her doubts about their decision.
The guys, on the other hand, were resolute in their choice to vote off Jeremiah, prioritizing his past behavior with Huda as a major reason. They collectively questioned Jeremiah’s previous actions in the villa while confirming their intentions to consider the “bigger picture.”
Huda and Jeremiah, feeling betrayed by the guys, had one final conversation regarding their relationship. Hannah and Pepe also spoke before her departure, with him promising to seek her out post-villa.
A sneak peek at the episode’s conclusion teased the introduction of five new girls and six new guys during Casa Amor.
