Sophie Beador Shakes Things Up: Will She Join Next Gen LA?

Shannon Beador’s daughter Sophie is maturing quickly — and fans suspect this includes a potential appearance on reality TV.

On Thursday, July 3, hair stylist Julius Michael uploaded an image of Sophie, 23, via Instagram. While the image was beautiful, it was Michael’s caption that sparked interest and speculation.

“The Next Generation is 🔥 @sophiebeador All grown up and becoming the #queen she is,” the caption stated.

“Next gen NYC???” one commenter wondered, referencing the Bravo reality series Next Gen NYC, which premiered in June 2025. Another remarked on Sophie’s striking resemblance to her mother, commenting, “Stunning like Shannon! Julius, I need you to do my hair in Vegas where I live! 🔥🔥🔥”

Shannon Beador and ex-husband David Beador shared smiles while reuniting for their twin daughters’ high school graduation. Shannon, 59, posted a collection of snaps on Instagram on Monday, June 12, including one of her with her former spouse.

Shannon Beador became a cast member of The Real Housewives of Orange County in 2014 and is reportedly part of the show’s 19th season.

Next Gen NYC “follows a tangled web of friends raised in the spotlight — or at least close enough for good lighting — as they navigate adulthood one brunch, breakup, and spontaneous decision at a time,” according to the show’s tagline.

Although Sophie Beador is not officially part of the show’s lineup, many believe Michael’s comment hinted at the possibility of her joining. On July 1, Reality Blurb reported that several reality stars’ children, including those of Adrienne Maloof and Cynthia Bailey, have been approached about a version of the series set in Los Angeles.

Participating in the series might provide a welcome distraction for Sophie, especially as her father (Shannon Beador’s ex-husband) has recently refiled for a restraining order against his estranged wife, Lesley Beador. Lesley and David Beador have one daughter together, Anna Love Beador.

David and Lesley have been married for four years. David has asked for a 100-yard restraining order against Lesley, which includes his home and workplace, except during custody exchanges for Anna.

David has also requested that Lesley be removed from their house in Newport Beach, California. “I own the home. My business is located in Orange County. Lesley is currently at our Montana residence for the summer,” he explained in court documents.

“Lesley and I have experienced numerous ups and downs in our marriage, including previously filed and dismissed divorce petitions and domestic violence restraining orders,” David stated. “I have been consistently concerned that Lesley’s relationship with me has predominantly been motivated by her desire for a luxurious lifestyle.”

Estranged couple David Beador and Lesley Beador (née Cook) have both filed restraining orders against each other amidst their ongoing divorce. Lesley, 39, submitted a temporary protective order against David, 58, on Friday, June 9, according to documents obtained by Page Six. She alleged that the former Real Housewives of Orange County star was physically abusive toward her.

He remarked, “In our situation [it’s] not merely a cliché that Lesley married me for my wealth. In our case, it’s a reality; she has made that abundantly clear to me.”
