Alyssa Scott Alleges Nick Cannon Hasn’t Visited Their Daughter Halo in a Month
Alyssa Scott is alleging that Nick Cannon hasn’t seen their daughter, Halo, in quite a while.
Scott, 31, posted a snippet of Cannon, 44, from his guest appearance on the Thursday, May 1, episode of Raven Symoné and her wife Miranda Maday’s “Tea Time” podcast through her Instagram Story. In the video, Cannon mentioned that after insuring his reproductive organs for $10 million, his family would receive the payout if anything were to happen to him.
Scott appeared unfazed by the lightheartedness of the topic, claiming that Cannon has not been present for their 2-year-old daughter.
“Haha, so funny. Any plans on seeing your child? It’s been over a month,” Scott commented alongside the video while tagging Cannon. “But nice to know she’ll see some of your [money] if anything happens to your balls, smh.”
Us Weekly has reached out to Cannon for a comment.
Cannon and Scott welcomed Halo in December 2022. Previously, they shared a son, Zen, who tragically passed away in December 2021 due to a brain tumor at just 5 months old.
“Our lives are forever changed ❤️ Zen is with me in every breath. I know his spirit was present in the room that morning. I feel him watching over us, showing me signs every day. I will cherish this memory always,” Scott posted on Instagram in December 2022 when announcing the arrival of her and Cannon’s daughter. “I will forever remember Nick’s voice saying ‘It’s a girl’ and the emotions on his face. I can still hear her first cry and feel her heartbeat next to mine. My sweet girl, I got my surprise!! We love you, Halo Marie Cannon!”
Cannon is a father of 12 children. Besides Halo, he shares twins Moroccan and Monroe, 14, with ex-wife Mariah Carey, sons Golden, 8, and Rise, 2, and daughter Powerful Queen, 4, with Brittany Bell, twins Zillion and Zion, 3, and daughter Beautiful Zeppelin, 2, with Abby De La Rosa. Additionally, he has son Legendary, 2, with Bre Tiesi and daughter Onyx, 2, with LaNisha Cole.
While Cannon has a busy household, the Masked Singer host mentioned during a March episode of his and Courtney Bee’s “We Playin’ Spades” podcast that he is “not done” having kids and has not undergone a vasectomy.
“I leave it to the Lord,” Cannon joked when asked by cohost Courtney Bee whether he preferred to have more kids with one of his current partners or seek someone new.
In an exclusive interview with Us in September 2024, Cannon expressed appreciation for the mothers of his children and shared how he balances his time with them.
“I thank God for their mothers,” Cannon told Us. “They coordinate wonderfully, and though they don’t have to, they truly empathize with my situation. Their sacrifices allow me to be present; I haven’t missed a birth or a birthday yet.”
