Amanda from Summer House Shares Her Thoughts on Ciara and West’s Reconciliation
Amanda Batula promised to shield Ciara Miller’s feelings from West Wilson in the most recent episode of Summer House—months before revealing her own relationship with Ciara’s ex.
“I was like, ‘The last thing I would ever do is invite Ciara and West out on an intimate date,’” Amanda, 34, shared with housemate Mia Calabrese during the Tuesday, May 5, episode of the Bravo series after discovering that co-stars Ben Waddell and his girlfriend, Sabrina Belle, were planning a “double date” with Ciara, 30, and West, 31, who had reconciled just a week earlier.
Amanda pointed out that Ciara and West “just became friends” again after their breakup in 2023.
“I think it’s too soon,” Mia said to Amanda while they sat on the beach observing Ciara and West flirt and have fun with their Hamptons crew.
Amanda claimed she was fine with the exes eventually getting back together—but questioned whether West was ready to be there for Ciara right now.
“Even if they got back together—happy. Literally would make me the happiest person in the whole entire world. The happiest. But he needs to be f***ing ready. It’s him,” Amanda expressed.
Mia wholeheartedly agreed, stating, “He needs to be all the way in and he just can’t f*** with her again like that.”
“I’m skeptical and weary of him,” Amanda admitted, while Mia replied, “My concern is not Ciara at all.”
Amanda emphasized that Ciara is a “very special, incredible person” who deserves to be treated “differently than any other woman in the world.”
She suggested that West wasn’t the person she envisioned stepping up—at least not this summer. “Until a man is capable of doing that, I don’t trust anyone with her heart,” Amanda confessed.

Amanda then turned to Mia, declaring, “I would die for that girl. The way I would cut West off in one f***ing second if she looked at me. If she gave me one look, [I’d] attack.”
Amanda’s fierce loyalty during Tuesday’s episode—which was filmed in late August 2025—is raising eyebrows after she and West confirmed their relationship in March.

The couple stated in a joint Instagram Story that it was “never our intention to purposely hide anything,” but they needed time to sort out their feelings before going public.
This revelation created quite a stir among Bravo fans and the Summer House cast. Just two months earlier, Amanda and estranged husband Kyle Cooke had announced their split after four years of marriage.
West and Amanda’s relationship followed a complicated history with Ciara, whom he dated in 2023 and had an on-and-off flirtation with for years. A source exclusively told Us Weekly in April that West and Ciara were even hooking up as recently as “about three to four weeks ago” and that Ciara was unaware of Amanda’s involvement.
While West later claimed there was no “overlap” between the relationships, Kyle, 43, admitted in an April TikTok interview that he is reevaluating how “handsy” West was with Amanda while filming their show last summer.
Meanwhile, Ciara revealed to Glamour last month that she and West had established “boundaries” to help progress their friendship. “One of those [boundaries] was no more sleeping with people on Bravo. Obviously, now that’s out the window,” she joked.
In spite of the backlash, West and Amanda are still dating, a topic fans will learn more about when the season 10 reunion airs later this month.
“The cast is mad at West and Amanda because of the way they handled things at the reunion,” a source told Us on Tuesday, noting that Ciara will “never be friends” with West or Amanda after what happened at the reunion.
The insider hinted that Ciara “wanted answers [about their relationship] by the reunion to make up her mind, but she is finally discovering who Amanda really is.”
Summer House airs on Bravo Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET.
