Brandi Glanville Shares Insights on Christmas Celebrations with Ex-Husband Eddie Cibrian and Their Children
Brandi Glanville is candidly discussing coparenting with her ex-husband Eddie Cibrian, particularly during the holiday season.
“I went over to my ex’s house for the sake of my kids. You guys can’t comprehend the love I have for these children,” Glanville, 52, shared on the Sunday, December 29, episode of her “Brandi Glanville Unfiltered” podcast. “I would literally take a bullet for them.”
Glanville and Cibrian, 51, are parents to sons Mason, 21, and Jake, 17. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star and the actor were married from 2001 to 2010. After their separation, Cibrian began a new life with LeAnn Rimes, who he has been married to since 2011.
During the holiday celebration at Cibrian’s home, Glanville shared a photo on Instagram that she referred to as their “modern family” Christmas.
“I received numerous texts about the picture. Well, let’s be clear: I didn’t post that picture, number one,” she clarified on the podcast. “It was shared before I shared it.”
Rimes, 42, was the first to upload the image on Wednesday, December 25, and Glanville followed with her own the next day.
“What else could I do?” Glanville continued. “Stay at my house and feel lonely during Christmas, or be with my beloved children and my in-laws, whom I adore.”
She emphasized to listeners, “I prioritized my kids,” despite any previous conflicts with Cibrian. (In 2018, Glanville disclosed that her relationship with her ex-husband had improved after their split.)
“Having two separate holidays messes kids up, folks. It really does. Two birthdays, it messes them up,” Glanville expressed. “A friend of mine is navigating a divorce right now, and this is her first Christmas not with her kids. She’s struggling, and so are the kids. It’s just tough.”
Glanville acknowledged that she “will never forget” her past struggles but remarked that she emerged from her experiences “stronger” than before.
“I can show up with a messed-up face and not care,” she stated. “As long as everyone’s joyful, we’re together, the kids are happy, and there’s good food— it was lovely.”
In the Christmas snapshot she shared, Glanville tilted her head to the left. She has previously mentioned on social media that she might have a parasite affecting her face — estimating that her treatments have cost her around $70,000—and gave Rimes a special mention while showing off their family holiday celebration.
“Not my ideal look for my face, but I felt ALL the love from my modern family,” Glanville captioned her Instagram photo. “Huge thanks to Le for offering to assist with my situation.”
