Craig Conover Shares What Happened to His Engagement Ring for Paige DeSorbo
Craig Conover is attempting to move on by putting his past behind him.
During an appearance on the Thursday, March 27 episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Conover, 36, shared what happened to the engagement ring he had bought for Paige DeSorbo prior to their breakup.
“I just returned it this morning,” he informed host Andy Cohen. “Diamonds are down right now so [the jeweler] said, ‘Do you care if I hold it?’ I simply don’t need custody of it anymore, so I brought it back to the guy.”
While his good friend Austen Kroll appeared taken aback by the news, Shep Rose made a light-hearted remark by asking, “Can I borrow $100?”
In December 2024, DeSorbo, 32, disclosed on her “Giggly Squad” podcast that her three-year relationship with Conover had ended.
Two months later, Southern Charm viewers discovered that Conover had purchased an engagement ring before his breakup.
“I’m gonna propose,” he said in a preview of the Bravo reality series. “She asked me to buy her a ring and, like, I did.”
Since the announcement of their breakup, numerous cast members from both Southern Charm and DeSorbo’s Summer House have shared their opinions on what transpired.
However, Conover is focused on moving forward. As part of that process, he is seeing someone new.
“I’ve been seeing someone,” he teased on WWHL. “I’ve been reminded that the universe works in mysterious ways and everything happens for a reason.”
Though much has occurred since DeSorbo confirmed their breakup at the end of 2024, Conover remains thankful for their shared experiences and aims to concentrate on the positive aspects of their relationship.
“When Paige did her first breakup podcast, she said I was the best boyfriend she ever had, and I truly believe we had a wonderful relationship,” he stated. “I think I was one of the most supportive people in her life.”
When asked about the rumors surrounding the breakup, Conover expressed that he did not want to comment on other Bravo stars’ opinions.
“I have my memories and we had a great relationship, and now I’m moving on in my life,” he shared. “I was obviously surprised when she left, and I’m just focused on moving forward. … I haven’t done anything but try to advance in my life. I’m genuinely happy in this new chapter.”
Southern Charm airs on Bravo Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET, while Summer House airs on Bravo Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET.
