Dennis Quaid Praises Son Jack for His Outstanding Performance in New Film

Dennis Quaid expresses deep pride in his eldest son, Jack Quaid, and his burgeoning acting career.

“I watched [his film Novocaine] a couple of nights ago,” Dennis, 70, shared in an exclusive interview with Us Weekly at the Happy Face screening in New York City earlier this month. “He’s exceptional. He truly demonstrated — and I felt this beforehand — that he can carry a movie.”

The legendary actor noted to Us that Jack has a “unique quality,” adding that having two famous parents provides a boost.

Dennis and his ex-wife, Meg Ryan, welcomed Jack, 32, during their marriage from 1991 to 2001. (Jack, their only child, has siblings Thomas and Zoe, 17, from Dennis’s marriage to Kimberly Buffington. Meg adopted a daughter, Daisy, in 2004.)
