Shania Twain and Other Celebrities Reveal Their Most Uplifting Fashion Moments
Stars are sharing their favorite outfits that bring them joy, ranging from sophisticated gowns to comfy casual wear.
For Frankie Grande, fashion holds the ability to transport him to different eras. A perfect example is the outfit he donned at the 40th Annual Artios Awards in February. “This outfit is making me really happy right now. It feels like summer, despite being winter, thanks to this outfit,” says the actor and singer. “I’m here, exposed, for all of you at Us Weekly! I wish it were summer — flaunting my body and enjoying the sunshine. This is a faux tan, but I’m pretending it’s real. I’m imagining being on a beach and that brings me happiness.”
“This one is both good and bad,” reveals 1923 actress Jennifer Carpenter. “At the Venice Film Festival [in 2017], my friend nudged me saying, ‘I think you’re supposed to get photographed.’ We had just arrived from a flight, and we were both jet-lagged. I complied, which was foolish as I was dressed in jeans, awful boots, and a plain white tee. In hindsight, I treasure that picture because it captures my most authentic self.”
The custom Chiefs jacket designed by Kristin Juszczyk for Taylor Swift made her an internet sensation, and amusingly, it’s the very piece that brings her the most joy. “Making that puffer vest felt like I was creating something groundbreaking.”
Indeed! The wife of former San Francisco 49ers player Kyle Juszczyk recently partnered with Skims cofounder Emma Grede to launch Off Season, a range of sports apparel.

Jenna Dewan enjoys pushing boundaries with her fashion. “[This Monique Lhuillier dress] featured a unique shape I hadn’t worn before,” the Rookie actress shares with Us. “I just had to say ‘yes!’ to the triple corset and its structure.”
“Wearing the newly launched Alix Jean from Frame has been really exciting,” says social media personality Alix Earle. “Seeing my name on the tag feels surreal. Those moments are thrilling to share.”
For Peter Facinelli, comfort reigns supreme! “I have this hoodie — you’ll see it everywhere on my Instagram,” he laughs. “It’s super cozy. Once, I was out wearing it with a beard, glasses, and a hat. Someone approached me asking, ‘Can I take a picture with you?’ I asked how they recognized me, and they replied, ‘You wear the same hoodie in every photo!’”

Shania Twain gets sentimental when recalling the outfit that brings her happiness. “I [wore] the original costume from the ‘Man! I Feel Like a Woman!’ video during the show,” the singer, who recently concluded her Las Vegas residency, shares with Us. However, don’t expect this Grammy-winning artist to don that look during her upcoming tour. “I need to preserve it, ensuring it remains intact for years to come — my hope is to wear it again in 30 years.”
“I’ve been in a phase of ‘buy less, don’t impulse buy,’” says Jonathan Van Ness to Us. “My impulsive spending habits were not ideal, much like my food choices — but darling, with that Zepbound, I believe it has curbed my impulse buys both in food and shopping!” Still, there was one particular item that the Queer Eye star couldn’t resist — Loewe floral print sneakers! “My stylist and I were pulling looks for tour, and normally, I’d say, ‘I need this and this and this,’ but I found myself thinking, ‘The only thing I truly need are those shoes!’ It was September, and I’ve worn them nearly every day since.”

“When I won my first Emmy in 2000, I wore this stunning Dolce & Gabbana gown,” recalls Patricia Heaton in an interview with Us. “It was black and fitted, adorned with beautiful embroidery and sequins. I hold fond memories of that night; I felt truly beautiful,” the Everybody Loves Raymond actress adds. “Those designers are known for celebrating women’s beauty, and that always makes you feel stunning in Dolce.”
