MGK Posts Gruesome Ring Photo, Highlights Pimple Up Close
Machine Gun Kelly isn’t shy about embracing the gory side of life.
On Wednesday, September 2, the 36-year-old rapper posted a picture on Instagram displaying his chunky ring, which had drawn blood. The image showcased a silver ring adorned with engravings and a diamond at its center, with visible blood on his finger beneath it.
In another spontaneous snapshot, MGK highlighted a pimple on his cheek, capturing a close-up while looking sideways. His look was completed with slightly damp blond hair and diamond hoop earrings.
“I’ve got a pimple. It’ll be making an appearance at my show in Mexico City tomorrow,” he wrote in the post. “This is my first-ever performance in Mexico. ORALÉ 🇲🇽❤️.”
Fans quickly took to the comments to share their thoughts.
“Did you get into a fight or something??? Your hand ✋🏻,” one user asked, complimenting his “Cool ring 😎.” Another quipped, “The pimple will be the opening act,” while a third exclaimed, “Pimple’s first concert!! Aww 🥹.”
MGK is known for his penchant for spiked jewelry. He proposed to Megan Fox with a custom emerald and diamond engagement ring in January 2022. He previously shared on Instagram, “I know tradition is one ring, but I designed it with Stephen Webster to be two.”
He noted that the stones were “set on two magnetic bands of thorns that draw together as two halves of the same soul forming the obscure heart that is our love.”
In the same month, he spoke to Vogue about the unique design, revealing that the bands were made of real thorns.
“So if she tries to take it off, it hurts,” the “Bloody Valentine” singer explained. “Love is pain!”
He added, “It’s an exquisite Colombian emerald, untreated. It was carved into a teardrop directly from the mine. The diamond was sourced directly from Stephen [Webster]. The concept behind the ring is that it can separate into two rings. When together, it’s held in place by a magnet, creating an obscure heart shape.”
Even though MGK and Fox, 40, are no longer an item, they welcomed their daughter, Saga Blade Fox-Baker, in March 2025.
