While not entirely new, this trend has seen a resurgence. In the early 2000s, stars like Paris Hilton frequently showcased their adorable miniature companions. From her original Chihuahua, Harajuku Bitch (who lived to the ripe age of 23!), to her current lineup of canine companions, Hilton has always had a taste for petite pups. She now manages an Instagram account, @hiltonpets, dedicated to her furry family — and reminiscent of many early 2000s fashions, little dogs are making a comeback.
However, the celebrity pets of 2025 are even more pampered than their predecessors, and their appearances at promotional events (think: The Substance and Twisters) garner additional focus on their famous owners and their projects.
