Exclusive First Look: Chris Meloni and Dean Norris Bicker in ‘Law & Order: OC’

The latest season of “Law & Order: Organized Crime” has kicked off, and Elliot Stabler (Christopher Meloni) has made one thing crystal clear to his brother Randall (Dean Norris).

“I need you to stay out of my professional matters,” Stabler states in an exclusive clip shared with TODAY.com from Episode Three, “Paranza Dei Bambini,” set to premiere on April 24 on Peacock. “I don’t want you discussing my situation with my boss.”

Stabler’s supervisor, Sgt. Ayanna Bell (Danielle Moné Truitt), presented him with a recent photo of his son Eli in his police uniform during the Season Five premiere.

When Stabler inquired about the source of the photo, Bell replied, “Randall sent it to me.”

“My brother Randall?” a puzzled Stabler asked. “Since when are you two close?”

“I have a lot of friends you’re unaware of,” Bell responded.

In the upcoming episode, Randall appears to be confused about why his brother disapproves of him communicating with his boss.

“Just don’t do it,” Stabler insists as they drive together. “I’d rather keep my personal matters private.”

Randall continues to press the issue, remarking, “Ayanna cares about you. I care about you.”

Stabler reassures him he’s “fine,” to which Randall replies that he’s most certainly “not fine,” pointing out that Stabler is just two weeks into recovery from “a very serious car accident” that left him in a coma.

“You’ve got TBI, brother,” Randall notes about the traumatic brain injury, “which means your big, tough head has been hurt.”

Stabler retorts, “The only thing causing me trauma is you.”

The conversation shifts to their mother, Bernadette “Bernie” Stabler (Ellen Burstyn), who is facing health challenges including memory issues.

Randall informs Stabler that their mom believes Joey (Michael Trotter), the youngest Stabler brother, is still reaching out to her. Bernie previously mentioned to Randall in the season’s first episode that Joe Jr. had told her he was in Switzerland. The last time viewers saw troublemaker Joey was at the conclusion of Season Four when he boarded a plane with a dangerous individual involved in drugs and illegal arms.

“No one has spoken to Joe Jr. in months,” Randall told Bernie back then.

During their car ride, Randall shares that Bernie believes Joey has called her “three times this month.”

“It’s as if she’s living in her own fantasy world,” he remarks, expressing thoughts of going through her phone.

“Perhaps you should focus on your own business,” Stabler counters.

Wise words from Stabler, who frequently finds himself entangled in issues that don’t concern him.

Additionally, in Episode Three, the Los Santos drug case from the previous season resurfaces, creating complications for ADA Dominick “Sonny” Carisi (Peter Scanavino), who has occasionally crossed over from “Law & Order: SVU” to “OC.” Stabler reconnects with an old informant from Italy, where he and his family resided after leaving the Special Victims Unit, as signs of a new player in the drug trade emerge.

Eli will also face challenges in establishing his identity within the NYPD after recently joining the force, following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather.

New episodes of “Law & Order: Organized Crime” Season Five premiere weekly on Thursdays on Peacock.
