Farmer Wants a Wife Star Announces Romance with Ella Langley
Farmer Wants a Wife star John Sansone has finally addressed the rumors regarding his past relationship with Ella Langley.
In an interview with Taste of Country on Thursday, April 16, the 26-year-old reality star revealed that he and the country singer, also 26, had a brief romance.
When asked if he enjoyed Langley’s music, Sansone responded, “Why don’t you just ask it Adison? Go ahead and ask.”
The interviewer inquired if he and Langley were “friends,” to which he clarified that they had “dated for a couple of months” and noted that they were no longer together.
Sansone shared that their relationship began after he reached out to Langley via TikTok DMs. “I don’t remember [what I wrote]. It was probably something creative. It couldn’t just be ‘Hi.’ I don’t know,” he told the outlet.
Rumors of a relationship between Sansone and Langley surfaced in late 2025 when the musician’s dog appeared in an Instagram post by the reality star.
Langley later posted a series of photos and videos in November 2025 that featured the two of them shooting shotguns together.
After appearing in season 3 of Farmer Wants a Wife, Sansone started dating contestant Claire Dirette, whom he chose over fellow finalist Lily Ayres.
The couple ended their relationship in August 2025, with Sansone publicly confirming the breakup through a now-deleted Instagram post.
“I would like to announce that Claire and I have ended our relationship shortly after Lollapalooza, over a week ago,” he expressed. “This was a mutual decision based on personal challenges and was not influenced by any reposts. While I’ll always cherish the time we spent together, I feel it’s best to go our separate ways. Though our relationship was public, I wish for this chapter to remain as private as possible.”
Dirette, 25, shared John’s statement on her Instagram Story, making a playful comment, “I ain’t reading all that but ditto.”
Before announcing their split, Dirette hinted at the breakup through a cryptic TikTok video where she lip-synced lyrics from Sabrina Carpenter’s “Don’t Smile.”
“Don’t smile because it happened, baby, cry because it’s over / I want you to miss me, I want you to miss me,” Claire sang in her post, which also used the Farmer Wants a Wife hashtag.
On her end, Langley has kept relatively private about her dating history and relationships.
