Hilary Duff’s Son Luca Spotted at Red Carpet Event for the First Time
Hilary Duff stepped onto the red carpet with her 12-year-old son, Luca, in New York City this week.
The mother-son pair made their appearance on Dec. 12 for the Broadway premiere of “Cult of Love” at Hayes Theater. The play includes Duff’s former “Younger” co-star Molly Bernard and her “How I Met Your Father” co-star Chris Lowell.
At 37, Duff sported a black T-shirt, gray trousers, and a long leather-style overcoat, while Luca looked stylish in a plaid shirt and a grey jacket as he accompanied his mom.
The former “Lizzie McGuire” star shares Luca with her ex-husband, retired NHL player Mike Comrie. Additionally, she and her husband Matthew Koma are parents to three daughters: Banks, 6, Mae, 3, and Townes, 7 months.
In May, Duff shared a heartwarming photo of her newborn on Instagram following Townes’ birth. The baby, clad in a mermaid-patterned onesie, was seen peacefully napping on Duff’s chest.
“Townsie gahhh,” the delighted mom captioned the image.
A few days earlier, Duff had posted an emotional announcement about Townes’ birth on Instagram, along with images showcasing Townes’ water birth.
“I have been dreaming of holding you in my arms for months, and the past five days of getting to know you, staring at you, and smelling you have been pure moments of magic. We all love you as if you’ve been here all along, beauty,” Duff expressed.
In February, she paid tribute to all her children—and Koma— in a charming Valentine’s Day post on Instagram. The post featured a picture of her proudly showing off her baby bump while sitting on the back of a couch surrounded by Koma, Luca, Banks, and Mae.
In her caption, she humorously noted, “getting us all in one picture takes a lot of promised popsicles.”
