How Halle Berry Attracted Boyfriend Van Hunt After Three Divorces
Halle Berry revealed that she manifested her partner, Van Hunt.
During her appearance on TODAY with Jenna & Friends on February 18, Berry, who recently launched her menopause initiative titled Respin, shared how she recognized that Hunt was the one for her after facing three unsuccessful marriages, stating she “spiritually called” him into her life.
“I manifested him,” she explained, noting that she learned valuable lessons from her past relationships.
“Having gone through three divorces, I finally understood what didn’t work for me and realized I was constantly telling the universe what I didn’t want — what I didn’t want,” she reflected. “So, guess what? I manifested what I didn’t want. I had to shift my mindset, focusing on what I did want instead of what I didn’t want.
“What did my ideal partner look like? How would he feel? What background would he have? Who would he be? How would he treat me? I got specific, and then he appeared.”
“He was the perfect match for me,” she added.

Berry, who was married to David Justice in the ‘90s, Eric Benét in the early 2000s, and Olivier Martinez from 2013 until their divorce filing in 2015, mentioned she would have been fine being single had she not found true love with Hunt.
“If love hadn’t come my way, I would have been happy just to raise my children,” she said. “After three divorces, I thought, ‘I might as well be alone,’ and I was ready for that. I was done. I understood that if the right person didn’t come along, I would be better off alone. But that’s the power of manifestation; we can create any reality we desire.”
Berry and Hunt have been linked romantically since 2020. In a 2022 interview with AARP, she mentioned that they formed a connection during the pandemic, spending hours talking on the phone.

“We would talk for hours and hours without growing tired. I fell in love with his intellect, his conversations. I realized: I truly like him,” she shared.
In April 2021, Berry and Hunt made their red carpet debut as a couple at the Oscars, shortly after which Berry began enthusiastically discussing Hunt in various interviews.
“I finally have a genuine, solid love in my life,” she expressed in a November 2021 interview with Access Hollywood. “I feel like I’ve finally figured it out.”
Most recently, Hunt honored the “Monster’s Ball” star on Instagram for Valentine’s Day.
“The deeper we go, the more ways I find to love you,” he captioned alongside a video showcasing their moments together.
