Candace Cameron Bure’s Daughter Addresses Criticism Over Baby Bump Reveal

Candace Cameron Bure’s daughter, Natasha Perry (née Bure), who is expecting, is unapologetically showcasing her baby bump, undeterred by any naysayers.

“Raise your hand if you will never understand why a pregnant belly offends some people?” Natasha, 27, playfully remarked in a TikTok video shared on June 12, as she raised her hand. “Let me be clear: I do not care. I literally don’t care.”

Last month, Natasha revealed that she is expecting her first child with her husband, actor Bradley Steven Perry. As she began to post maternity photos on social media, Natasha faced a barrage of inquiries regarding her decision to flaunt her bare baby bump.

“I had no idea this was a concern until I received numerous messages from grown women telling me to hide my belly, buy bigger clothes, or recounting their own experiences of not doing the same when pregnant,” Natasha explained. “I cherish my pregnant belly, and I have never felt prouder of my body—proud that I’m nurturing a little one—especially coming from someone who has struggled with body image issues my whole life.”

She added, “I love being able to look down and see my little one. … I’m making up for the early months of my pregnancy when I was trying to hide it and wearing the most unflattering outfits. Now that I have a bump, I’m going to flaunt it until the baby arrives.”

Natasha emphasized that she plans to continue wearing belly-revealing outfits “until further notice.”

I genuinely had less women commenting on my belly being out, when I wasn’t even pregnant. Forever confused by it 🫶🏼😙😁 but this belly is here to stay for little while hehe

“The one person who might love it even more than I do, and the only opinion that truly matters, is my husband,” she gushed about Bradley, 27. “We were hanging out with friends recently, and I wore a baggy sweat set. He saw me before I left and said, ‘I’m so sad I can’t see your pregnant belly. It’s my favorite thing ever.’ You know what? That man is my favorite thing ever.”

Natasha also mentioned that her pregnancy is temporary, so she intends to cherish every moment with her baby bump.

Candace Cameron Bure is overjoyed to be stepping into her grandmother role. “Over the moon,” the Full House star, 50, expressed about Natasha Bure’s pregnancy during a Q&A on her Instagram Stories on May 12. “I’ve been eagerly waiting for this day. I’ve always wished to become a grandparent in my 40s.”

“I’m only going to look like this for a limited time, and God willing, I hope to enjoy this experience multiple times, so my belly will be out until further notice,” the actress declared. “If that doesn’t resonate with you, we’ll see you in a couple of months.”

Natasha is the eldest child of Full House alum Candace, 50, and her husband, Valeri Bure, who also have sons Lev, 26, and Maksim, 24.
