Introducing the 25 Women Selected for Grant Ellis
Grant Ellis is only weeks away from debuting in his season of “The Bachelor.”
At 31, Ellis, a day trader and ex-professional basketball player, was chosen as the next lead for this beloved reality dating series in August. He’s making a mark in history as the second Black male lead, following former “Bachelor” Matt James, who handed out roses in Season 25.
Bachelor Nation first became enamored with Ellis during Jenn Tran’s season of “The Bachelorette” last summer. He candidly shared his journey of mending his relationship with his father, bonding with Tran over discussions about their families. However, their romance ended before they reached “Hometowns” week. Fortunately, he didn’t remain single for long, as he was revealed as the lead for Season 29 just after his elimination.
The show has already unveiled a trailer for the forthcoming season, which launches on Monday, Jan. 27 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC, and it seems like the contestants will be smitten with him the moment they step out of the limo.
“Tall, handsome, smart. Hottest bachelor ever,” one contestant exclaims.
