James Kennedy of ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Arrested for Domestic Violence Charge

James Kennedy, a reality star from “Vanderpump Rules,” was arrested earlier this week on a misdemeanor domestic violence charge, as confirmed by police.

The 32-year-old DJ, whose full name is James Kennedy Georgiou, was taken into custody Tuesday night in Burbank, Los Angeles County, following a call about a dispute between him and a woman around 11:30 p.m. Burbank Police relayed this information to NBC News, with TMZ being the first to cover the event.

“The investigation revealed it was a domestic incident, leading to Mr. Georgiou’s arrest,” stated the police.

He was charged with misdemeanor domestic violence and has since posted bail. Formal charges are pending review by the Burbank City Attorney’s office, according to police.

Kennedy is in a relationship with Ally Lewber, who also starred in the reality series. It appears they attended a Christmas party hosted by “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” cast member Kathy Hilton on Tuesday night, as seen in social media posts.

Kennedy’s representatives did not promptly respond to an NBC News request for comment.

Last month, it was announced that “Vanderpump Rules” would be returning for its 12th season with a new cast, saying farewell to several familiar faces, including Kennedy, following a dramatic last season that concluded with “Scandoval.” This scandal involved cast member Tom Sandoval’s infidelity with his long-term girlfriend Ariana Madix and their mutual friend Raquel Leviss.
