Joe Amabile Claims Grant’s Message to Rose on The Bachelor Is Irrelevant

Joe Amabile believes that Rose Sombke made a critical blunder on The Bachelor when she disclosed to contestant Carolina Quixano what Grant Ellis had confided in her during a private exchange.

“The confusion between Rose and Carolina has been quite unusual,” Joe, 38, shared with Us Weekly as he discussed his new collaboration with Eroxon. “Both of them are appealing. My heart goes out to Rose in this situation since she seems so distressed, and I think she erred. I just don’t understand why she disclosed that information to Carolina. Naturally, if Carolina learns about it, she will want to confront Grant. I just feel Rose made a mistake, and unfortunately, in the Bachelor realm, there’s little time for such errors.”

Fans have mixed feelings about Rose, 27, confiding in Carolina, 28, regarding Grant, 31, mentioning he was “thinking” of her during a group date. Some, including Rose, interpreted that Grant meant he was considering her specifically during his private time with Carolina, while other viewers thought it was general praise meant to reaffirm Carolina.

“I can’t say for sure if Grant actually said it — and I don’t believe it ultimately matters,” Joe conveyed to Us. “To me, the issue lies in Rose telling Carolina. Even if Grant did mention it, I think it’s wise to keep such information private since revealing it can jeopardize your own chances.”

“Grant, so far, is doing great. I like Grant,” he remarked. “I really appreciate how he’s managing all the difficult discussions. I believe he’s doing an excellent job.”

However, Grant will face tough choices as hinted by teasers for the season’s finale.

“That’s quite perplexing, as it currently seems that he knows who he wants,” Joe noted, agreeing that Juliana Pasquarosa and Litia Garr appear to be the leading contenders for his final selection.

When questioned on whether Grant should trust his head or his heart, Joe expressed his preference for the latter. “I’m quite the romantic. I genuinely believe you should follow your heart; if you’re not emotionally invested, it’s not going to succeed regardless of how practical the situation is,” he stated.

The reality star has been part of Bachelor Nation since 2018, during season 14 of The Bachelorette. Now, he partners with Eroxon to promote their gel for treating erectile dysfunction (ED) and the brand’s new AI ChatBot, Ed.

“I believe it’s vital to have these discussions. For too long, ED has been a taboo topic. Many men shy away from talking about it,” he shared. “I was surprised to learn that one in four men over 18 experience it. Personally, I don’t, but I know age tends to catch up. So, more awareness is always beneficial.”

Joe even mentioned to Us that he’d recommend Ed to his fellow franchise members. “I’m open to it. Let’s have that chat,” he said.
