Justin Hartley Praised for His ‘Stunning Wife’ Sofia Pernas at the Golden Globes
Justin Hartley garnered attention for his charm, talent, and his stunning wife, Sofia Pernas, at the 2026 Golden Globes.
E! News correspondent Justin Sylvester surprised Hartley, 48, during the red carpet event on Sunday, January 11, by complimenting his hairline and his date. Hartley chuckled at the remark, but Sylvester continued, playfully suggesting that Hartley made him question his own sexuality.
Accompanied by Pernas, 36, at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles, Hartley was there to present an award at the Golden Globes. He was also celebrating the success of his hit CBS series, Tracker, which has been breaking records.
Basing its story on Jeffery Deaver‘s novel The Never Game, Tracker follows a survivalist named Colter (Hartley) as he assists individuals and law enforcement in solving various mysteries across the country. As the show progresses, viewers uncover how Colter’s past has influenced his present as a lone wolf.
Hartley not only stars as the lead but also serves as an executive producer for the show, which quickly resonated with audiences since its debut in early 2024. As Tracker continued to set television records and gain viewership, Hartley found ways to include his former co-stars, including Pernas.
“She’s incredible. Honestly, if I could, I’d spend every moment with her,” Hartley praised in an interview with Us Weekly in July 2024. “It’s amazing meeting someone who means so much to you, whom you’re so proud to be with and admire greatly. Getting to see her shine as an actress is a joy, as she enhances every scene, making my job a lot easier. It’s just wonderful collaborating with her.”
Executive producer Elwood Reid confirmed Pernas’ return for season 3, which is currently airing on the network.
“She’ll be back. We have an exciting, spicy midseason finale, and Billie will return in the winter premiere,” he hinted in October 2025.
However, Pernas reprising her role as Billie doesn’t suggest that Colter will settle down anytime soon.
“It’s complicated because he rarely stays in one place for long. These are discussions I have frequently with Justin. A crucial part of the show is the emotional hook early in each episode, where Colter wants to assist the person in need,” Reid explained. “It feels strange if he’s like, ‘Hold on, I need to take a five-minute break in the middle of the episode for a hook-up.’ That’s something we’ve avoided.”
After teasing the connection between Colter and Billie, the fictional couple took a significant step forward in season 2. Reid hinted that Tracker will continue to build on that dynamic while simultaneously developing Billie’s character arc.
“The challenge with Billie is that she’s a fellow tracker, doing what Colter does. Whenever she’s in an episode, we need to ensure both characters have engaging storylines,” he noted. “They are both strong personalities when together. We’ve found fun ways to incorporate her this season.”
Tracker returns to CBS on Sunday, March 1, at 9 p.m. ET.
