Kelsey Anderson Unveils Shocking Haircut as an April Fool’s Joke
Kelsey Anderson is quite the prankster.
On Tuesday, April 1—commonly known as April Fool’s Day—Anderson, 26, posted on Instagram to showcase a dramatic, albeit temporary, beauty change. In the photograph, her hair was cut to shoulder length, with the face-framing strands trimmed to her cheekbones. The remainder of her hair was styled to one side in her natural waves.
Anderson radiated joy in the picture, where she played with her hair that was at least six inches shorter than her typical long curls.
Dressed in a mint-green off-the-shoulder minidress, The Bachelor alum complemented her faux look with soft makeup, which included blushed cheeks and long lashes. However, it was her seemingly freshly chopped hair that really sparked conversation.
“The Bobdemic has hit me 💇🏽♀️,” cheekily captioned Anderson’s post.
Anderson’s fiancé, Joey Graziadei, played along with the joke in the comments, exclaiming, “Looking GUUD.”

The former Bachelorette Charity Lawson seemed to be in on the fun, commenting, “Enough 💀💀💀.” Meanwhile, Bachelor Nation alum Kaitlyn Bristowe, who proudly sports a similar hairstyle, remarked, “You better not be hatin’ on bobs 👊🏼 😉.”
Many followers begged Anderson not to cut her curls and expressed hope that she was just teasing for the holiday. “Kelsey. I love you. Tell me this is an April fools joke please 🥲,” one fan wrote. Another added, “Please say it’s a wig 😭😭.”
Hours later, Anderson confirmed her “haircut” was truly just a wig by posting a funny video of herself sassily removing the piece from her head. She then danced around, fluffing her signature caramel locks for the camera.
“Happy April Fool’s Day 💗,” Anderson wrote in a different post while wearing the same outfit but with her famous long hair restored, to the delight of her fans everywhere.
