Margaret Josephs Hints at Exciting New RHONY Spinoff and Cameo!

Margaret Josephs is dishing the details about E!’s The Golden Life after confirming her appearance to Us Weekly!

“Perhaps I had a brief time in Palm Beach,” Margaret, 59, shared exclusively with Us Weekly at the Vulture Reality Masterminds Celebration in New York City on Thursday, May 7.

While Margaret was initially vague about her involvement in E!’s upcoming reunion show, focused on former Real Housewives of New York stars, she eventually dropped some hints about what fans can anticipate from the series.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey alum mentioned that Florida was “warm” and “fun,” confirming, “I was with iconic women that I cherish.”

Margaret praised the cast, saying, “They’re my friends. I admire them.”

Though she did not specify how many episodes she would appear in, Margaret was firm that viewers would enjoy every moment of the show.

“I believe it’s going to be an extraordinary show. I think it’s going to be truly spectacular,” she expressed.

E! announced in February that the network had officially greenlit the new show, featuring RHONY alums Luann de Lesseps, Ramona Singer, Kelly Bensimon, and Sonja Morgan, all of whom now reside in Palm Beach, Florida.

“Bound by years of shared history, conflicts, and friendships, this beloved group of New Yorkers is starting anew in the Sunshine State,” E! declared in a press release. “In this new ‘golden’ chapter of life, these longtime friends are flourishing in and around Palm Beach, with upscale second homes and a vibrant social scene. With their signature humor and unwavering antics, the series will showcase the group as they explore dating, family, and career milestones. Although the skies are sunny in Florida, unresolved conflicts linger as they reconnect after a rollercoaster of experiences.”

Earlier this month, the network unveiled the first look at the show, which will consist of 10 episodes.

After joking about lacking the stamina to date younger men, and Ramona’s need for “turtle time,” a.k.a. daily rest, the women affirmed they are living their “best lives” in Florida and want fans to join the adventure.

While Margaret will not be a full-time cast member on The Golden Life, she has been occupied filming with the RHONY ladies following her departure from RHONJ in March.

“Thank you and good night,” Margaret wrote in an Instagram video on March 24, tagging Bravo, producer Andy Cohen, and NBCUniversal. “Hi everyone, it’s The Marge! I have to share something that may surprise you, but not me. I’ve been reflecting on many aspects of my life and I am moving on from The [Real] Housewives of New Jersey.”

Margaret, who made her RHONJ debut in season 8 in 2017, mentioned she had been in discussions with Bravo since December 2025 regarding her exit.

“I feel the timing is perfect. So much has changed in my life. I’ve been fortunate enough to work on a different project, and I’m currently on set,” she hinted. “I realized I need to focus more on my family, pursue my design work, and take a break to move forward.”

Us confirmed exclusively that Margaret is set to appear in Savannah Chrisley’s new Amazon series, which will also feature Real Housewives alums Kim Zolciak-Biermann and Kenya Moore, along with former Bachelorettes Kaitlyn Bristowe and Jenn Tran, among other reality stars.

“It resembles Eat, Pray, Love,” a source told Us in March about the untitled show, described as “essentially a spin on Bravo’s Girls Trip franchise.” (Bravo’s Ultimate Girls Trip features several Real Housewives stars traveling together to a vacation spot.)

Margaret also shared with Us on Thursday, “I already filmed another series for Amazon Prime, which I am very pleased with. It was an incredible experience.”
