Fans of “Friends” are set to put their expertise to the test on “Fast Friends,” a game show inspired by the iconic NBC sitcom, which Warner Bros. announced on September 23.
This exciting new four-part game show will stream on Max starting December 19, with production commencing in October at “The ‘Friends’ Experience” interactive exhibit located in New York.
Participants, who are dedicated “Friends” enthusiasts, will tackle trivia questions, solve puzzles, and engage in challenges within the exhibit’s meticulously recreated sets from the show.
“From racing through Rachel and Monica’s apartment to sprinting across Joey and Chandler’s bachelor pad and grabbing a coffee at Central Perk, fans will relive their beloved moments while facing trivia, puzzles, and games that will challenge even the most passionate FRIENDS fans,” the studio remarked back in September.
The team that successfully navigates the challenges in the shortest time will earn the title of “Ultimate Friends Fan.”
This announcement coincided with the celebration of the 30th anniversary of “Friends,” which debuted its first episode on September 22, 1994, introducing audiences to Ross (David Schwimmer), Rachel (Jennifer Aniston), Chandler (Matthew Perry), Monica (Courteney Cox), Joey (Matt LeBlanc), and Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow).
