Melissa Gorga from RHONJ Puts Her Sprinkle Cookies to the Test

With no Real Housewives of New Jersey updates until at least 2026 (as confirmed by Andy Cohen himself), Us Weekly needed a way to fill the substantial void in our hearts. Enter Melissa Gorga.

The RHONJ star launched her Let’s Sprinkle by MG brand in December 2024, prompting Us to sample her famous sprinkle cookies—whose viral TikToks became a sensation—and her new sprinkle coffee cake.

True Bravo fans recognize the significance of a perfect sprinkle cookie. Once, Gorga brought a plate of these cookies to sister-in-law Teresa Giudice’s house on Christmas Day.

“I told her, ‘Melissa, nobody touched the cookies you brought. I threw them in the garbage,’” Giudice remarked during season 3 of RHONJ. “You know what my favorite cookies are? Pignoli cookies. That’s all I said.”

Unlike Giudice, the Us Weekly staffers had no intention of tossing Gorga’s sprinkle cookies.

“They do not skimp on the sprinkles, which is a good thing,” Deputy Digital Editor Sarah Hearon noted. “I feel like often sprinkle cookies lack adequate sprinkles. That has been my primary critique.”

Hearon emphasized that the sprinkles are “the most important part” of these cookies. However, she did wish the cookies were slightly chewier.

Senior writer Shelby Stivale stated, “If anyone knows about sprinkle cookies, it’s Melissa Gorga.”

The Let’s Sprinkle by MG Coffee Cake—the latest addition to Gorga’s offerings—is said to have a buttery flavor with a hint of vanilla, without skimping on sprinkles or crumbs.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice aren’t likely to share a sprinkle cookie anytime soon. On the Wednesday, December 18, episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Melissa, 45, expressed her thoughts on sister-in-law and longtime rival Teresa, 52, seemingly taking credit for her new cookie venture. “Melissa Gorga, you can genuinely have your cake and eat it too,” Stivale quipped. Hearon added, “It tastes like it would pair wonderfully with a cup of coffee. I catch a hint of the strudel flavor—cinnamon vibes but not overwhelming.”

Both Us staffers wished that these sweet treats might help Gorga and Giudice reconcile. (The two have been embroiled in a long-standing family feud for years, even before the cookies made their debut.)

“It would be really lovely if Melissa and Teresa could, instead of breaking bread, maybe break some sprinkle cake,” Hearon joked. Stivale chimed in, “I feel like they could find common ground over a slice of this cake.”
