Millie Bobby Brown Reveals Rare Photos of Her Baby Daughter
Millie Bonnie Bongiovi (previously known as Millie Bobby Brown) marked her journey into motherhood and the phenomenal return of Stranger Things by sharing a series of heartfelt photos.
“The life of a showgirl,” she wrote in an Instagram post on Wednesday, December 3, highlighting rare images of her baby daughter with her husband, Jake Bongiovi.
In one of the photos, Millie, 21, and Jake, 23, embraced each other while he cradled their little girl. In another image, Millie held the infant, obscured by a bunny emoji over her face, as she appeared to smile next to her father-in-law, Jon Bon Jovi.
Another picture captured Millie with her daughter by a swimming pool.
“Mommy bobby brown 🤩,” commented Ulta Beauty, while her brand, Florence by Mills, chimed in, “Our shaylaaaa 🥹🫶.”
Additional clips showcased Millie on the set of Stranger Things season 5, which premiered on Netflix on November 26. A black-and-white shot displayed her smiling with costar Noah Schnapp in a car.
During the red carpet premiere of the new Stranger Things season, Millie revealed that Schnapp, 21, is her daughter’s godfather. “Sadie [Sink] is very maternal, but Noah’s her godfather,” she shared with Entertainment Tonight. “They all turn into the most gooey, soft versions of themselves and their baby voice comes out when they’re around her.”
Schnapp offered his thoughts on Millie becoming a mother: “Aw, it’s honestly the greatest joy. It’s crazy for me to see her grow from such a wide-eyed, innocent young girl to now being a mom and married. I’m just so proud of her.”
Millie and Jake, who wed in 2024 after two years of dating, have chosen to keep their daughter’s name and identity private for the time being.
Regarding this decision, the actress explained to British Vogue in a November interview, “It’s really important to protect her and her story until she’s old enough to potentially share it herself.”
She added, “It’s not my place to put her in the spotlight unwillingly. If she chooses to share her personality with the world one day, like I did, that’s something we would support. But right now, as she’s so little… it’s our job as parents to protect her.”
Millie opted to change her name after becoming a mother and a wife. In November, she unveiled her new name during a YouTube interview for VT.
When asked, “Noah, what is Millie’s full name?” Schnapp replied with Millie Bonnie Brown. However, she hinted for him to try again.
“Millie Bonnie Bobby Brown Bongiovi,” Schnapp guessed, but Millie suggested he simply “drop the Brown.”
“Drop the Bobby [and] drop the Brown. It’s just Millie Bonnie Bongiovi,” she clarified. “That’s all.”
Millie and Jake reside on a farm in Georgia with their newborn.
“I grew up here, you know?” she shared with Vogue of Atlanta, where she filmed Stranger Things. “This is the longest I’ve stayed in one place because of Stranger Things. For me, this is home.”
