Mindy Kaling Unveils Personalized Hermes Bag Embroidered with Her Kids’ Names
Mindy Kaling elevated her mom accessory game to new heights.
On Monday, January 27, the 45-year-old actress took to Instagram to share highlights from her brief visit to the City of Light during Paris Fashion Week. Sporting a dazzling hot pink ensemble, along with plaid outfits and sleek styles, the The Office star showcased several stunning looks, but one item truly caught attention. Kaling posted a picture of her customized Hermés Kelly Bag, embellished with the names of all three of her children.
Decorating the left side of the bag, her 4-year-old son Spencer’s name was elegantly inscribed in delicate cursive letters highlighted with diamonds. On the right side, the name of her 7-year-old daughter, Katherine “Kit,” appeared alongside that of Anne, her youngest, born in June 2024. (Kaling has yet to publicize the identity of their father, though fans speculate it might be B.J. Novak.)
To add extra flair to the black crocodile print purse, Kaling included her kids’ names underlined by dangling beads attached to heart-shaped, teardrop, and circular diamonds. Before her personal touch, the bag was valued at approximately $80,500.
In another part of her post, Kaling shared a moment from her visit to Hermés, where she admired some neon Kelly and Bikini bags. She also included a snapshot of herself with her tan Birkin featuring gold detailing.
“36 hours in Paris!! Thank you @patou 🌹,” Kaling wrote in her post.
Her celebrity friends and fans couldn’t contain their excitement about Kaling’s brief Parisian escape, filling the comments section with compliments.
