Neil Patrick Harris Criticizes Abby Lee Miller for Altering His Appearance

Abby Lee Miller ensures everyone appears stunning in her photos.

Miller, 60, took to Instagram on Tuesday, December 2, to share several images from her visit to New York City. After enjoying *Art* on Broadway, she posted pictures of herself with the cast, including Neil Patrick Harris, James Corden, and Bobby Cannavale.

While Corden, 47, and Cannavale, 55, looked natural, Harris, 52, appeared heavily airbrushed.

Upon seeing the photo, Harris couldn’t resist leaving a humorous comment, asking, “Ummm… what did you do to my face..?”

Many fans joined in the laughter over the situation.

“Why did u yassify him miss Abby,” one joked, while another chimed in, “Abby why did you do that to Neil 😭.” A third inquired, “Did you airbrush Neil Patrick Harris?” and another wondered, “Wth happened to Neil Patrick Harris 🫥.”

The official *Art on Broadway* account also partook in the fun, commenting, “Now THIS is a true work of art 🖼️.”

Although Miller may have thought her picture with Harris needed a bit of enhancement, she still expressed her admiration for his performance alongside the rest of the cast in her caption.

“If you truly want to LAUGH OUT LOUD!!! Then go see @artonbway,” she praised. “With these incredible comedic actors @nph @j_corden and @bobby_cannavale On tv they are superstars; live on stage – their timing is impeccable, and in person afterward – such gracious kind gentlemen! Thank you for an incredible evening of NY Theater!”

This isn’t the first instance of Miller being called out for a Photoshop blunder. In September, fans criticized her for allegedly applying an “aggressive” beauty filter on herself while boarding a plane.

“Hello everyone, good morning! I’m on a United [Airlines] flight from Chicago to Des Moines, Iowa, to teach all day today at Ocean Athletics,” she said in the video.
“See you soon Iowa!!! ✈️ Limited tickets available for today’s events ~ yes, you can pay at the door! 👍🏼,” the *Dance Moms* alum noted in the post.

Miller’s followers quickly pointed out her flawless look in the comments section.

“The filter is FRYING MEEE😭😭,” one wrote, which over 500,000 other users “liked.” Another stated, “The aggressive filter 😭,” while a third commented, “I thought this was a random person with an Abby filter on.” More fans jokingly praised her as their “filterless queen.”

Miller isn’t the only celebrity to face criticism for editing photos in the past. Kris Jenner drew attention in August for seemingly having six toes while posing for a picture at her mother’s 91st birthday lunch.

Her daughters Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner also faced backlash for their KKW Fragrance collaboration in 2019, where Kylie, 28, appeared to have an extra toe. Kim’s representative explained to Page Six at the time that the camera angle was the cause of the issue.

Khloé Kardashian, for her part, discussed during a July episode of her “Khloé in Wonderland” podcast how she doesn’t alter her social media pictures as often anymore.

“There was a time when I was around some individuals that made me feel like I had to,” she shared. “I really had to reprogram my mind to think, ‘Okay, we need to lay off the filters. This isn’t real. That’s not how I look.’ And I don’t want to look like that. It was a peculiar time.”
