Nick Viall and Wife Natalie Joy Celebrate the Arrival of Twins Following Miscarriages
Nick Viall and his wife, Natalie Joy, have officially become outnumbered with the arrival of their twins.
“Dove Tomlin Viall and Iris Parker Viall,” the couple shared on Instagram on Friday, July 3, along with their first glimpse of the newborns. “Our rainbow babies.”
At 45, Nick and 27-year-old Natalie are already parents to daughter River, who was born in February 2024.
In February, they announced that they were expecting twins.
“Our rainbow babies are finally here, and this time it’s TWINS 🌈🌈,” they wrote in a joint Instagram update.
In the shared photos, Viall and Joy—who tied the knot in April 2024—posed with River while showcasing sonogram pictures of their twins, with Joy tenderly holding her bare baby bump.
The joyous news followed a difficult year for Joy, who experienced three miscarriages. In March 2025, she shared that she had suffered her second pregnancy loss just two months after her first.
“While grieving the loss of our second baby earlier this year, I unexpectedly learned I was pregnant again,” she recounted on her Instagram Story. “It took me a while to come to terms with what had happened only to be gifted another opportunity so quickly.”
After feeling “so much joy” during her second pregnancy, Joy faced heartbreak with another miscarriage.
“We were finally grateful and in a good place. [Then], this past week, I miscarried again,” she shared. “I had to undergo a D&C this time, which was harder than I anticipated.”
In August 2025, Joy stepped back from “The Viall Files” podcast following her third miscarriage.
“As you can see, Natalie is not with us. Unfortunately, there’s no easy way to talk about this… Natalie experienced another miscarriage,” Viall informed listeners. “It’s her third this year, our third this year. There’s no good way to phrase it—it’s devastating. She’s at home resting and healing, both physically and emotionally.”
He added, “It’s been overwhelming for us, and we’re trying to navigate it as a family. Part of the challenge is to still appreciate what we have, like River, and continue moving forward. It’s all very confusing how to process something like this… but we’re thankful for your support.”
In December 2025, Joy reflected on the challenges of the year while looking ahead.
“This year brought a lot of heartbreak, but I’ve never felt more loved ❤️🩹❤️. 2025 was a year of growth and that’s all I can ask for,” she wrote on Instagram. “Looking forward to 2026 with my loved ones.”
Before their family grew to five, Joy celebrated daughter River’s birthday, cherishing her bond with her eldest amid fertility challenges.
“My miracle baby is TWO!!!” she captioned an Instagram tribute to River in February. “I call her a miracle because I understand how truly difficult my body makes it to carry a baby, and somehow, the universe gifted her to us. I am better because of you, my sweet girl.”
