Pedro Pascal Slams Anti-Trans Trolls as ‘Vile’ in Instagram Comments

Pedro Pascal is expressing his views on Instagram.

On February 21, the actor took to the platform to share a pro-trans statement that reads, “A world without trans people has never existed and never will.”

The comments section saw a divide among Pascal’s followers, with some supporting him while others announced they were “unfollowing” him due to his post.

In a pinned comment, Pascal reinforced his beliefs expressed in the original post.

“I can’t think of anything more vile and small and pathetic than terrorizing the smallest, most vulnerable community of people who want nothing from you, except the right to exist,” he stated.

Lux Pascal, Pedro’s sister, came out as transgender during a 2021 interview with the Chilean publication Ya magazine.

“For everyone in my family, my transition has been something very natural. Almost something they were waiting to happen,” she mentioned, with the translation provided by TODAY.com.

Lux shared that Pedro has been supportive throughout her journey.

“He has played a significant role in this. He is an artist and has been a guide for me. He was one of the first to provide me with the elements that shaped my identity,” she remarked.

In a conversation with Esquire, Pedro briefly touched on his sister. He expressed he “wouldn’t want to speak on her behalf,” but affirmed his unwavering support for her.

“She is and has always been one of the most powerful individuals and personalities I’ve ever known,” he said. “My protective instinct is intense, but I rely on her just as much, if not more.”
