Pregnant Kylie Kelce Stands Up for ‘Stashing a Bag of Cheetos’ in Super Bowl Suite 2025
Kylie Kelce is discussing the viral sensation surrounding her 2025 Super Bowl snack habits.
“Many of you might have seen a photo from the game of me devouring a bag of Cheetos,” Kelce, 32, shared on the Friday, February 14, episode of her “Not Gonna Lie” podcast. “A couple of things to note from this photo: I absolutely love Cheetos. They’re tasty, crunchy snacks [and] salty. There’s nothing to critique.”
Her husband, retired Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, joined in to question how anyone could dislike Cheetos.
“I’m not sure who doesn’t enjoy Cheetos. Even [my brother] Travis likes Cheetos,” Jason, 37, joked, catching Kylie off guard since her brother-in-law, 35, is quite the “picky” eater.
Jason and Kylie made their way to New Orleans earlier this month to support Travis, a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, as he played in Super Bowl LIX against the Eagles. They were seated in a private suite with Jason’s parents, Donna and Ed Kelce, along with Travis’ girlfriend, Taylor Swift.
Although the Chiefs lost 40-22, a photo went viral showing Kylie — sporting a black T-shirt to remain neutral — pouring Cheetos directly from a small snack bag into her mouth.
“If you see me eating any type of packaged food in public … I will be dumping it directly into my mouth from the bag,” Kylie explained. “First off, it cuts out the middleman [and] second, I didn’t have time to wash my hands. My germaphobia kicks in saying, ‘Just dump it right in.’”
She further added, “Sometimes I’ll crunch, like if I have Doritos … so they slide out of the bag into my mouth in a less chaotic manner.”
Jason, on the other hand, had a different view.
“You de-triangulate them? That’s probably [the best part] … I mean, you have some very odd eating habits,” Jason, who was a guest on Kylie’s podcast in celebration of Valentine’s Day, pointed out. “Between that and cereal, I think you have some skewed junk food rules.”
Kylie playfully responded, “But you chose to marry me, sucker!”
Kylie and Jason tied the knot in April 2018, several years after connecting on the dating app Tinder. They’ve since welcomed three daughters: Wyatt, 5, Ellie, 3, and Bennett, 23 months, and they are eagerly awaiting baby number four.
Despite Jason’s reservations about her eating habits, Kylie firmly stated that she still “stands by” her approach.
“I genuinely believe it’s an efficient way [to] skip the middleman,” she remarked. “I couldn’t rush to the bathroom to wash my hands. And even if I had, who knows what door I might have touched [and] I’d be avoiding highly touched surfaces.”
She concluded, “I’ll continue washing my hands and dumping Cheetos into my mouth, regardless.”
