One of the most eagerly awaited WWE events of the year, the Royal Rumble, is scheduled for Saturday, February 1, at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
The Royal Rumble is not only the name of the event but also refers to its signature matches for both men and women. Each Royal Rumble match starts with two superstars in the ring, with another competitor entering every 90 seconds. The objective is to eliminate other superstars by throwing them over the top rope.
The victors of the men’s and women’s Royal Rumble matches will secure a championship opportunity at WrestleMania 41, which will take place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on April 19 and 20.
This year’s Royal Rumble event will also showcase Cody Rhodes defending his Undisputed WWE Championship in a ladder match against Kevin Owens.

Which superstars will participate in the Royal Rumble 2025 matches?
The men’s Royal Rumble match will include John Cena, who is currently on his farewell tour with WWE as he prepares to retire from wrestling this year. Other confirmed participants include Roman Reigns, CM Punk, Seth “Freakin’” Rollins, Drew McIntyre, Sami Zayn, Shinsuke Nakamura, Logan Paul, Jey Uso, Penta, Bron Breakker, Chad Gable, and Rey Mysterio.
The following superstars have declared their participation in the women’s Royal Rumble match: Bayley, Liv Morgan, Bianca Belair, Naomi, Nia Jax, Charlotte Flair, Lyra Valkyria, Ivy Nile, Raquel Rodriguez, and Iyo Sky.
