Sister Wives’ Robyn Labels Kody a ‘Pig’ Following His Recent Admission

Robyn Brown is not pleased with her husband Kody Brown’s latest revelation.

In a sneak preview of the season 20 premiere of Sister Wives, set to air on Sunday, September 28, the couple sits down for a dinner date. However, when the conversation shifts to the potential of adding another sister wife to the family, the atmosphere becomes less romantic and more tense.

“I believe we share something special, but if it’s not replicable, it could jeopardize us,” Kody, 56, expresses in a preview shared by People on Thursday, September 25. “Why would we put that at risk? For anything other than…”

Before Kody completes his thought, Robyn, 46, finishes for him by saying “a guarantee not possible.”

Sister Wives star Christine Brown shares her thoughts on ex Kody Brown’s participation in Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test. “I’m not going to watch. That would be … Maybe I will,” Christine, 53, said with a laugh on “The Sarah Fraser Show” on Tuesday, September 2. “I think [Christine’s husband] David [Woolley] […]

Despite his concerns, Kody reveals why he is genuinely considering expanding the family.

“There’s something I desire, maybe even more than you do. I don’t want to delve into that topic,” he says, alluding to intimacy. “My main motivation, I’m afraid, at this stage in my life, would be simply how attractive she is. I’m dead serious.”

Clearly surprised by her husband’s admission, Robyn quickly addresses Kody’s peculiar perspective on the matter.

“And that would be the absolute worst reason,” she remarks with a laugh. “You don’t realize how you’re coming across.”

Kody responds, “I know, I know. I’m a guy, and I don’t freaking care.”

For 20 seasons, Sister Wives has chronicled Kody’s unconventional relationships with multiple wives, at one point featuring four partners.

However, over time, Christine Brown left Kody in November 2021, Janelle Brown confirmed their separation in December 2022, and Meri Brown announced their split in January 2023.

In a confessional interview during the premiere this Sunday, Robyn candidly remarks that Kody is “just kind of being a bit of a pig right now.”

When TLC released the official Sister Wives season 20 trailer, Kody teased that he might entertain some ideas that Robyn may not fully support. (In the past, Robyn expressed a desire for Kody to remain connected with his exes.)

“I have this wife, her name is Robyn,” he mentions in the preview. “She would never let me do anything mischievous as badly as I want to.”

His comments followed moments of him attempting — and seemingly struggling — to reconcile with his former partners. At one point, Meri is heard telling Kody, “We are never, ever, ever getting back together.”

Though Sister Wives keeps Kody occupied, he has also committed to participating in season 4 of Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test.

Set to premiere on Thursday, September 25, this reality show will challenge Kody’s physical and mental capabilities through rigorous training exercises led by military professionals.

Kody mentions that Robyn was uncertain about him joining the Fox series.

“She expressed, ‘I just don’t think I would,’” he exclusively told Us Weekly on September 10. “She’s the type of wife who cares for everyone, making her quite the worrier.”

Sister Wives season 20 debuts on TLC Sunday, September 28, at 10 p.m. ET.
