“Live from New York: The SNL Experience,” a new event that allows fans to feel the excitement of hosting the legendary late-night show, was exclusively revealed by TODAY on Jan. 13.
“In celebration of the 50th anniversary of ‘Saturday Night Live,’ NBC is introducing an immersive, Studio-8H-inspired experience, granting fans the chance to experience hosting the beloved comedy series,” stated the NVE Experience Agency, collaborating with NBC to create the event, in a press release.
“Every participant will feel the adrenaline rush from hearing their name announced as they rush through the stage doors to rolling their chair up to the Weekend Update desk. They will experience both the on-camera allure and the behind-the-scenes thrill of SNL; with unexpected surprises and nods to classic moments around every corner to honor the 50 years of iconic sketches and the show’s signature spontaneous style that has characterized it since 1975,” added the release.
This experience coincides with the upcoming “SNL50: The Anniversary Special,” airing on Feb. 16 on NBC and Peacock.
