Tracy Tutor of Million Dollar Listing L.A. Exits Real Estate Agency
Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles star Tracy Tutor has officially left Douglas Elliman, as confirmed by Us Weekly.
Tutor, 49, is entering a new phase in her real estate journey by joining Compass. According to a press release highlighting her move, with over $4.5 billion in sales over her 25-year career, Tutor aims to expand her portfolio in this new role.
“My brand has always been rooted in innovation and growth, and joining Compass aligns with my vision for the future of my business,” Tutor expressed in a statement on Tuesday, January 7. “This partnership will enhance my client service capabilities in California and Texas while allowing me to tap into new markets, enhance my team’s abilities, and continue to set standards in the luxury real estate sector.”
She also announced her “new era” via social media on Tuesday.
“I am excited to announce that the @tracytutorteam has transitioned to @compass, the largest residential real estate brokerage in the U.S. by sales volume,” Tutor wrote in her post. “Thank you for your unwavering support! Here’s to a #newera of success for the @tracytutorteam.”
Robert Reffkin, CEO and founder of Compass, also commented on Tutor’s move on Tuesday.
“Tracy’s decision to join us is a testament to the strength of our platform and our ability to attract top talent in the industry,” he said. “Together, we’ll redefine what’s achievable in the luxury real estate market.”
Tutor has been a fixture on Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles since 2017, sharing the screen with Josh Flagg and Josh Altman, the latter of whom left the show last year.
In October 2024, it was reported that Josh, 45, and his wife Heather Altman would be leaving the Bravo show after season 15.
“What can we say?! Million Dollar Listing LA has been an incredible journey,” the couple shared in their joint statement. “The memories, friendships, experiences, sales, the highs and lows, and the opportunities it has opened for us will always be cherished. NO REGRETS.”
They added, “We thank you all for being a part of this wonderful ride over the past 15 years of our lives. It’s a blessing to be part of a show that initiated an entire television genre. So many people to thank, especially all of you who have supported us. WE LOVE YOU!!!!”
