What Is the Age Difference Between All Age-Inappropriate Couples?
WE TV has become the latest network to delve into age differences with its new series, Age Inappropriate. What’s the age gap between each pair?
The show debuted in August 2026 and centers around five couples, each featuring what are termed “surprising age gaps.” The official synopsis highlights that each couple will “boldly enter the limelight as they experience love, differing life stages, and the scrutiny from those around them; is age merely a number, or will their generational disparities be too wide to overcome?”
In its first season, the show showcased a diverse array of couples with age differences spanning nearly 20 to 40 years. Each couple is at a distinct stage in their relationship, with some having been married for several years while others are just starting their commitment journey.
Age Inappropriate is not the only program examining age-gap relationships. Netflix’s Age of Attraction, which premiered in March 2026, is hosted by real-life couple Nick Viall and Natalie Joy, who share an 18-year age difference.
The description for Age of Attraction introduces a premise where “age is disregarded as singles seek their soulmates, but will the years stand in their way?” By the end of Season 1, two couples remained in a strong relationship.
