Numerous celebrities have boasted about making it onto the exclusive list to receive a prized Christmas cake from Tom Cruise.
During her guest appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in November 2019, actress Cobie Smulders shared that she receives a delightful holiday gift from Cruise every single year.
Referring to it as the “most glorious time of year,” Smulders revealed that her co-star from the 2016 film Jack Reacher: Never Go Back sends her a coconut cake every Christmas. “I keep it in my freezer, and it lasts until, like, March. I just gradually enjoy it. It’s so delicious,” she mentioned. “I don’t understand why. I’m not really into sweets, but it’s just that good.”
Smulders was thrilled to discover that host Jimmy Fallon is also part of the esteemed cake club. “It’s unbelievable,” he said of the decadent white chocolate coconut treat.
Although Fallon admitted to not having a strong preference for sweets, he makes an exception for this delightful cake, especially considering its association. “It’s Tom Cruise,” he exclaimed. “When you receive a cake or anything from Tom Cruise, you savor it, freeze it, and hold onto it for a year. I can only hope I get the cake this year.”
As it turns out, Smulders and Fallon are not the only notable figures to have received this delicious treat from Cruise. In fact, many of Cruise’s friends and former co-stars have shared their experiences of his tradition of gifting this scrumptious cake, which is sourced from Doan’s Bakery in Woodland Hills, California.
