On Tuesday, August 5, Jenelle, 33, shared images of her and Jace enjoying a helicopter ride via Instagram for his sweet sixteen celebration.

“To the young man who made me a mother 😭🎉🎂 #HappyBirthday Jace, 16 years young! While Jenelle and David are officially divorced, the former couple is still discussing custody, child support, and other matters, with reports indicating they are set to appear in court for mediation on August 11.

In June, Jenelle spoke exclusively to Us Weekly about their breakup, highlighting infidelity as a reported issue.

“I believe he cheated on me with his ex-wife,” she confided to Us before her “I Do, I Did, I’m Done” divorce party at Spearmint Rhino in New York. “When those text messages surfaced, that was essentially the breaking point.”

In October 2023, David allegedly sent text messages to his ex-wife expressing a desire to “turn back the clock.” He refuted the allegations and discussed the texts with Celebuzz, stating, “That’s not cheating, but I have plenty of evidence regarding her infidelity.” (Jenelle has also denied any wrongdoing.)
