Jessi Ngatikaura from Mormon Wives Discusses Her Decision for Lower Eyelid Surgery
The Secret Wives of Mormon Wives star Jessi Ngatikaura is being open with her fans about her recent choice to undergo a widely sought cosmetic procedure.
On Friday, August 15, Jessi, 33, took to TikTok to explain her decision for a pinch blepharoplasty, a procedure aimed at removing excess skin from the lower eyelids. “It basically just takes the skin underneath [the eyes] and just pinches it up,” she revealed.
“I’m super excited about it,” Jessi continued. “It’s really just to assist with loose skin under the eyes. This happens as we age, plus I recently lost almost 20 pounds, which also leads to loose skin.”
Jessi explained that her decision to undergo this procedure stemmed from feeling “self-conscious” about her excess skin, expressing her desire to “tighten it up.” She noted that the procedure is so subtle, she doubted “people would even notice.”
“It’s amusing when people leave hateful comments like, ‘This is so sad,’ but in a couple of weeks, I’ll just look really awake and youthful, so it’s really not that sad,” Jessi remarked.
She also defended some of her previous cosmetic choices, including her rhinoplasty, explaining that it was a minor tweak. “It was just a little tuck,” she mentioned regarding her nose job while gesturing towards her nostrils.

Fans expressed concern about her results after she underwent a CO2 laser resurfacing treatment to address wrinkles, but Jessi enthused that her skin looks “literally amazing” after healing.
“I feel like the procedures I’ve chosen are just to give me a fresher appearance,” she clarified. “Not to appear unsettling.”
On Thursday, August 14, Jessi showcased her results on TikTok as she recovers from her latest procedure.
“@utahfacialplastics did it again! @dr.jamesmanning performed my nose procedure, and we decided a skin pinch for my under eye was the way to go. I’ll keep sharing my recovery journey,” she captioned the post.
In another TikTok video, she addressed her “plastic surgery haters,” lip-syncing to a popular audio clip that stated, “I’d rather die hot than live ugly.” Fans expressed a range of opinions in the comments.
